~how often are you in contact with your vendors~
should we be chatting more?

I was just curious how often all of you are in contact with your vendors. FH and I have been engaged for quite a while (over 2 years) and so we booked a lot of our vendors far in advance and have sort of been in contact with them... and met with most of them once or twice.

How often do you chat/e-mail/phone/meet with your vendors?? Such as your venue, photographer, DJ's/musicians/florist/cake baker/make-up artist etc.?

I'm going to be contacting all my peeps again next week just to see if we need to be doing anything since we are now 5 months out (as of tomorrow, yay!). But I'm just wondering what the norm here is.

I speak to the lady at the reception location/cateer once a month. My photographer every 2 months, and everyone else only when I feel necessary.

5 months down....man it going to go by fast!

I have been worried about the same thing as I booked most of my vendors 9-10 months out and just now starting to touch base. They have all been great and don't seem to have forgotten about me! I am meeting the florist, DJ, and photographer about a month or two out to go over final details. The reception place has been a bit different. We met a few weeks ago and will meet again for a tasting and to make final selections. My wedding in April 8th.
