Our 1st Anniversary!!!
Time flies when your having fun :)
Tomorrow is our first anniversary and we can not believe it! It really seems like we were saying I Do just a few months ago. Our biggest transition was combining finances but it wasnt that bad. We have had a truly blessed year. In this tough economy my job has sustained and he has been promoted twice. God is so good! Since our wedding 1 of my friends & 2 of his friends have gotten married, and 3 more of his are engaged. One of which is a destination wedding in November in Rivera Maya, Mexico and we can not wait!
We have 2 new little adorable nephews (my sister and sister in law both had babies this year). We agreed to wait until after our first year to start a family, well that day is tomorrow. Im excited to begin this next phase of our lives and I know he will be an amazing father! My prayer is that we will continue to be friends, lovers, and always be able to communicate even when we may not completely agree. No big plans for our anniversary we have had family visiting us the last few weeks so we just want to relax and enjoy each other. We are looking forward to going to Essence Festival in New Orleans for a day and eating our top tier of the wedding cake tomorrow. Yesterday we picked up my anniversary gift, Nissan Murano. Hes a sweetheart!!! Happy planning to all of you brides to be and best wishes for an amazing wedding day! BTW: I tried to decrease the file size of the pictures so now the quality sucks. Just click on the pics to have a slightly better view. |

My New Little Nephew

My sis who's been married for 2 yrs. has a new baby boy, Chistopher Bryant. He is 6 weeks old today and is simply adorable! I'm so excited to be an auntie. I have been back home to Atlanta so much these last couple of weeks to spend time with the little fella. Isn't he just too adorable!!!
In Jan. we will welcome another nephew into the world (my brother n law and his wife). They have also been married for 2 yrs. and their son will be named Christain. You would think my sis and sis n law planned it but nope it just happened that way. This has been an amazingly blessed yr for us and our family. My husband has the baby bug now so will we see what happens.... |

Does anyone have experience creating photo book albums on shutterfly.com? I am trying to figure out how to make 1 photo span over 2 pages, and then add additional smaller pictures on the exterior of the pages. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Early on in our wedding planning we agreed that we would not spend a lot of money on our flowers. My 2nd option was to use silk flowers to cut cost even more. I really enjoyed making the flower arrangements and bouquets for my wedding and now I'm considering making a business out of it.
These pics are just a few examples. The first 2 pics (pink and red) are new creations, the 3rd (peach) is of the flower girl at my wedding with her flower ball, and the last pic is my bouquet. |

I'm so excited about our wedding! It's July 5th so prior to the wedding we have the whole weekend to really get to enjoy family & friends. We will have a outdoor garden wedding and ballroom reception. Our colors are peach, latte & chocolate.
It's a little stressful planning a out of state wedding but in the end I know it will all be worth it!
