Sad News
It's been awhile since I've been on here so I must update you guys withe verything. J's father has had lung cancer for a few years now and we were told he would not be able to attend the wedding. Well then the doctors came back and said he would be able to attend the wedding. He came to the wedding, we had a wonderful time, and we stopped by to see him Sunday and then J and I went on our honeymoon at Jekkyl Island. We got a call that Friday of our honeymoon to call his mother when we got home. When we got home that Saturday, they told us he wasn't doing well. Then we got the call Sunday morning he was gone. A WEEK after our wedding day. We immediately had to go to Texas to be with his mother, and My heart just went out to them. Js father was very special to me so it saddened me to know that he was gone. Just wanted to give you guys an update. He will truly be missed but I'm so thankful he got to be there on our wedding day. He wanted to be there so badly and he was. He was just tired. I know he is up in heaven having a ball now :) We just miss him down here...

What Shoes? What Color?
Hey guys! I'm trying to figure out what flower girl shoes I should go with? Should I go with a flat or more like a dress shoe for the girls? Also, as many of you know, my wedding colors are wine and orange. I have 2 flower girls and a broom carrier 1 with a wine sash, 1 with an orange sash, and the other little girl is completely in Ivory. So my question is, should I dye their shoes? Should I put one in wine flats, one in orange, flats, and the last in Ivory? Or should I keep them all in Ivory? Just wanted to get your guys opinion!! Thanks so much!

Hostess Dresses
DILEMMA... SOLUTION!!
Sooo.. the dress that I fell in love with for my hostesses I couldn't order because it would have been 12 weeks and there wasn't enough time.. I was so aggitated.. and upset.... because I was getting the same story from everyone... My fiance would always say to think of another solution.. Don't give up...
SOOOOOO Taking his advice I looked and I looked and I was getting the same information.. Couldn't find the orange I wanted.... Just aggrivated..... So I went to David's Bridal again and the Orange WORKED! I was so excited ! Now you can see the colors! My orange is a lil different than I expected but it worked!!! What do you guys think??!?!? |

Countdown Begins!
YAY! 100 DAYS TO MY WEDDING
AGH! I don't know what to do with myself?!?!? I'm so excited! Time is flying! I love him so much I wish I could marry him this weekend! Who knew it would be such agony to wait!!! So much for me wanting a September/Fall wedding!!! I'm just getting so excited and ready to move!!! I'm so glad that God brought him into my life! If you knew our story, it was NOTHING BUT GOD!!
Thought I would have a lil fun and answer some questions about my wedding! Quiz Time! Get to know us :) How long did you date before you got engaged? We dated for 3 going on 4 years.... Did you get the ring you wanted? I didn't really have a ring I wanted per se, I LOVE MY RING THOUGH! Was the proposal a complete surprise? Yes.. He talked about things but actually being proposed to in front of all those people at Olive Garden? YES! Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small? I love my ring! It's what he had for me so I'm loving it! Did you cry when he proposed? Nope.... When do you want to go for your honeymoon? We are going to Jekkyl Island on that Monday! Are you buying his wedding band for him? Yes! Have you gone over your original wedding budget? No.. not yet..lol What day of the year will your wedding be? Saturday, September 18th! What kind of weather? Hopefully beautiful fall! Inside or outside? Inside my home church of course! Church/justice of the peace/other? I wouldn't have it any other way than in a church! How many people will be there? at least 200! Time of day? at 3pm Any kind of theme? FALL, AUTUMN, SEPTEMBER! AGHHH I LOVE IT!.. How many bridesmaids? Who would they be? 7. 1 cousin, 2 besties, and my other close friends! Also 4 little cousins, and 2 godbabies! What kind of cake/what will it look like? Round with leaves :) Where will you have the reception? Coastline Convention Center What kind of dress will you have/color/material? My dress is beautiful.... And all me.. ha ha! What kind of flowers in your bouquet? Calla lillies! And other flowers in fall colors! Kind of engagement ring? white gold; water under the bridge diamonds and center stone. Kind of wedding bands? mine is diamonds, his white gold. How will you wear your hair? lots of curls! Who will be important to be there? Our family and close friends Will the reception be big or small? Bigger than I thought What will the groom wear? black tux...with bow tie How old will you and the groom be? Both 28! How long will you be engaged before you get married? 1 year, 1 month Live together before or wait till married? Nope; old fashion way :) Take a long time to plan the wedding or will it be simple? a year Will you do it yourself or with family or hire someone to plan the wedding? between me, my pastor's wife, and friends, it will get done Will you write your own vows or use something pre-made?
