Soooo, our wedding is at 3:00pm, with the reception at 6:00pm. We are having the wedding at Theatre in the Park, where they have plays every summer, so in order to have the ceremony there, which I REALLY wanted, we had to have the ceremony at 3:00 and make sure we're out by 5:00 since they have a show that night. I wanted this location so bad since my Mom has taken me there since I was a little girl. Sooo, we had no problem moving the time up so that I could have this "dream."
We just found out that my nieces (also Junior bridesmaid and her mom is the MOH) dance recital is that day, one performance at 1:00 and the other at 6:00. There's no way she can make the 6:00, but is going to shoot to make the 1:00. Dance is VERY important to our family, especially her, and it is one of the few things that gives her self confidence.
Soooo, in order to do all this, our time line is going to have to change drastically. I was hoping to do all the girls pictures before the ceremony, and that really isn't an option now. And after will put a crimp in our being out of there by 5:00. And there is the option of a "first glance" photo shoot before the ceremony, but that is worst case scenario as we both REALLY want the first time he sees me as I'm walking down the aisle.
It will change decorating, hair, pictures, etc. Starting to freak out a little bit, lol. Jason is willing to do whatever we have to do to make it work, and so am I. Why are there THREE important shows that day that MUST GO ON!!!! Lol.
I think the worst part for me is that this will be the first of her dance recitals that I will have to miss. :( Soooo sad about that. My sister says she will buy the DVD and we will have a special viewing, but it's just not the same.
I know it will all work out, we will just have to have a pretty strict schedule. but I guess I just wanted to whine a little bit, lol. Hope all is going well for all of you!!!!
