After about 3 months of trying on dresses, I found my dress and veil today! I love my Mori Lee Go...
Good afternoon, ladies!! I hope this finds you all wonderful!!! I had picked up my dress from the salon in December, and took my sister with me. They were very busy that day, and we didn't get help at all. So I tried it on, it seemed a bit big, but neither one of us was sure if it was enough to go down a size. So like I said, without help, we just took it home. I knew I was going to have to have alterations anyway for the length, so I wasn't too worried about it.
When we went in for round two of bridesmaid dresses, I was talking about not being sure if my dress was the right size. This time we had a very helpful lady, and she told me to make an appointment to bring it in, and if I needed a different size that they would exchange it!!!! I thought to myself that it couldn't hurt. Worse case is it wasn't enough to go down a size, and I take my dress home.
That following week, I went in, and the second I put the dress on, the sales lady said "oh ya, we're going down a size." I was sooooo excited, my hard work has paid off!!!! So they ordered a smaller size, no charges whatsoever, and I just picked my dress up yesterday, and it fits PERFECT!!!! I will still have the length altered, but unless I lose more, won't have to alter the size at all. :)
The main reason I'm so excited is it is REALLY hard for me to lose weight. Even when I eat healthy and workout, it seems I just don't lose. I had started more strength training, and that helped with size, but I had to quit paying attention to the scale since muscle weighs more than fat. And it's hard for me to get enough protein because I very rarely eat meat, and have to take supplements.
So obviously it was a pretty big deal to me, knowing all the extra work and watching what I ate paid off. I was so happy and just wanted to share that!!
I hope you are all having a wonderful time planning!!!!
