Hi ladies!! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was busy, but good.
So for awhile now, I have been wanting to do a midnight snack at the reception. Well, not necessarily midnight, but later in the evening. Originally I wanted french fries, but the caterer at the reception hall doesn't do them. I know alot of people are doing popcorn bars, but I didn't really want to do that since we are already having a candy buffet, but I got to thinking that we could definately have popcorn available, just not all the different kinds. Just one kind. So I talked to the local popcorn shop, and I can get party bags for $7.00 a piece. Each bag feeds about 15-20 people. So it will end up being a pretty cheap extra for our guests. :)
It went outside of our color scheme, but we bought four of these really big popcorn containers(pic1) at the dollar store!!! We will put the popcorn in there towards the end of the evening. Then we will have pink and black containers(oriental trading) for people to carry it with them.
I'm pretty excited about it. It will just be a little extra something, and it will be at the end of the evening, so there wont be as many people either. Should be fun!!!
Whatcha girls think? Good idea??
