escort cards
The first picture shown is one that I found a while ago and it has always been one of my favorites, I love how romantic it looks. Only downside is that I would rather not have to budget for little card holders, any ideas? I'm also a little undecided about this design because I am planning on doing the escort cards myself and don't know how difficult this would be.
I also like the two pink ones, they are both different then lots of others I have seen and would be quite easy to DIY. The rocks are also such a cool idea, and I'm so undecided between all of these ideas, what are everyones thoughts? |

Programs
So while I still haven't found my venues yet, I would like to have a outdoor ceremony. But a friend of mine just had a outdoor ceremony two weeks ago, and it was like 30 degrees outside, it was killer to sit in direct sun like that for like 45 min, so everyone was using thier programs to fan themselves. So when I saw this picture of a program in a fan shape, I thought wow that would be perfect. Hopefully I will still end up having a outdoor ceremony cause I love this idea.

Wedding Flowers
Reception Centerpieces
My idea for the centerpieces is square vases with different types of pink white and yellow flowers, with some greenery. I'm not sure what I want to put in the bottom, I kinda like the leaves and long grasses wrapped around the bottom, and then maybe putting a ribbon around the vase, or if not that then I also like the water pearls probably in white.

Wedding Cake
cake?
So ever since I have started looking at wedding stuff theres been one type of cake that i've wanted. Its the classic pretty white 3 layer cake with some sort of pink decoration, and then white and pink flowers coming down the side. But my fiance wants something more unique and fun, so i having been looking at grooms cakes and decided that I think having two cakes will be okay. The only downside I'm thinking of is that we are going to have lots of cake, and probably won't even end up serving half of it. There is also a few ideas that i think we could comprimise on, because spending that much money on two cakes is kinda silly if you ask me.
Update: so we made a comprimise, my FH is set on the last cake shown, the one with the plane crash thats getting torn down(I think its pretty cool too), and the comprimise with it is that I get to decorate the rest of the cake how I want. I still haven't decided on what I'm going to do with it yet, but there's still lots of time left to decide. |
