This is pinkjen's Pink Wedding!

April 20th, 2007 my 9 year niece was diagnosed with AML Luekemia. She fought a 7 month long battle with ugly cancer and was finally cured November 13,2007 at the age of 10 when Jesus took her home. she wanted so bad to be in my wedding so along with saying a prayer at the ceremony and lighting a candle for her I though this would be a nice idea to kinda have her there with me throughout the whole day. My fiance's grandmother also passed away 2 weeks after Taylor from lung cancer and I was thinking to add one on for her also. It is so hard to go through such a special day without 2 very important people so this way you can always look down and see them with you! I founf them on Myjeanm.com they have sage or white ribbons.

So my fiance is a Chicago Cubs fanatic I don't know if it's from growing up in the city or what but he is a little overboard. So He wanted to incorporate some of his Cubbie Luv into the wedding so he found these two things online. So I am gonna let him add them in because I don't think that they are bad ideas I kinda like them!!! the jersey will say our last name and the year of the wedding and we are gonna get it framed with everyones signature and hang it somewhere in our house(hopefully the basement) . The pillow I am thinking that I could probably make a cuter version of it instead of spending $25 for a plain pillow with an iron on patch. We will see if I get around to it before the wedding! Otherwise I will be ordering this one!

Flowers....ok so still not ordered yet but I am getting them through a friend of my MOH who manages the flower department at Jewel and she told me to com ein after mother's day...I am having pink and orange roses the the color of the first two pictures and they will be in a boquet like the 3rd pic...then my bridesmaids will carry pink/orange gerbera daisies and my flower girls will have the flower balls(I know they aren't really called that) with pink/orange gerbera daisies.

Invitations are all addressed stuffed and stamped ready to go to the post office on Friday!!!! YAY...this is going by sooo quick I can not believe it. So I had my 2 aunts, my mom and grandma help with the envelope stuffing...not such a good idea they were not following instructions and were't stuffing everything into the inner envelope just putting it all in the outter envelope ...ha ha oh well at least I got some help I guess?????

ok so finally figured out what the cake is gonna look like and I ordered our topper. When it came it looks kinda small but with the amount of people that we are having we need a 5 tier cake so I think it will be an ok size for the top tier. The second and third cakes in the pics are the look we are going for and then my mom's husband painted the I DO like in the last picture. it is bright pink with like a glitter coat and then me and my mom covered the letters in rhinestones I will have to get a picture of it. VERY CUTE!

My ring is a 1.5 ct princess cut with 1.5 cts along the top,bottom, and sides I couldn't really find a wedding band that matches because my top and bottom diamonds criss cross and it pushes the band down too far and looks funny so maybe farther down the line I will get one made????

Sam's band we just got last weekend he is seriously worse then a girl when it comes to picking out jewelry!!!! He originally had a Scott Kay Gothic style picked out but then when we went to get it he found out that if your size changes they can not size that ring you would have to purchase a whole new ring so that idea was no good. So then after forever he picked out an Artcarved with some diamonds on it I think it is very cute kinda pricey though for just a wedding band :( but I guess he deserves something nice too!

Sam took me on a trip to Riviera Maya Mexico to a brand new resort that had recently opened. Our second day down there we were laying by the beach all day having some drinks(sam had a little too much I think he was kinda nervous) we ended up getting into a fight over something stupid and I wanted to go home...Sam told me to just go get ready and gave me a dress and shoes to put on that he had bought me as a surprise so I did. When I had finished getting ready he walked me down to the beach where there was a table set up right in front of the ocean with candles all around it. We ate dinner there and halfway through sam started telling me how much I meant to him and what he wanted for our future and then he dropped down to one knee and proposed!!!!!
While we were at dinner he had the hotel place Rose petals all over the bed and had them fill up the tub with bubbles and Rose petals...How Romantic!!!!!!!!

We finally decided on Excellence in Punta Cana. It looks really pretty and it's adults only so we wont have a bunch of kids and families all over so that is a plus. Our travel agent was a little skeptical of hurricanes in July so We are gonna pray to God that does not happen that would be horrible I am scared of storms as it is without including the ocean!!!!!!!!

Don't really know what we will be doing as far as centerpieces yet I just know what my colors are...I guess I should probably start figuring that out seeing as though ther's only like 5 months left.

Still don't quite know what I am doing with my hair. I think I will do Lindsey's red with chunky blonde highlights and this half up/down do.

These dresses will be fuschia with an bright orange sash. The sash has sequined embroidery that matches with my dress. Very cute!! I have 7 bridesmaids and My fiance has 7 groomsmen so it is gonna be a pretty big wedding party.

I LOVE my dress... I originally had a dress from a previous engagement but I just did not feel right wearing the dress plus it was a little too small seeing as though I was only 21 when I was engaged before and I'm now 26 .... I kept seeing this dress and had to go try it on. Once I went and tried it on I fell in love and knew it was the "one". the top is covered in sequins along with the whole  tulled bottom and they make the dress sparkle in the lights. It's a big puffy Cinderella dress!I can not wait to wear it!
