Wedding Cake

Just saw this cake and totally loved it! i've just realized that my version of what i thought i wanted is different from wahts ending up being the wedding! in the beginning the colors were black and red, now they are pink and champagne, and totally inspired by candy. How the hell does that work out? lol. I'm having so much fun planning though, just so undecided on the cake

So missing WBC!!
because my son broke his leg!
So i was kinda bummed I wasn't getting my wedding fix from here, but, my 14 month old broke his leg, obviously i wasn't really thinking too much about my wedding, my thoughts were all about him! CRAZYMAN!! And the craziest part of it was we had no idea until 3 days of being in the hospital. We went in cause both his feet were swollen for no reason on Saturday afternoon, and no one had seen it before, so he's my own personal episode of House. They did a CT and xrays on saturday night, and didn't see it on those, and while they were on their way to rule out what it wasn't they scared the shit out of us by mentioning it could be a blood clot, a heart defect, or even a muscle eating disease. Finally Tuesday they did an MRI, and saw that he had fractured it, so now my little guy is in full leg cast! Funny enough, i'm happy to know that its "only" a broken leg.
How did it happen you ask? My husband and I were getting ready to leave, so he put him down on the bed for 2 seconds to put on a shirt, and he was right there next to the bed, and then he rolls right off! We didn't think anything of it at the time cause he cried for 2 seconds and was fine, and then a few hours later both feet were swollen and purple. I guess boys will be boys right? 3 weeks of a cast, and he should be good, so it can't be too bad, they didn't really say how bad it was though! We've been home for a day now and he's already trying to walk on it! in the pic you can see his cast and on his right hand was his wrapped up IV so he wouldn't bite it out. Cause he was trying as hard as possible! |

Four Weddings
How catty! This is a rant *just a warning*
so the show is still on, and i am so shocked how rude the girls have been in this particular episode. Going as far as calling things trashy in weddings, and making fun of others for having a small budget. 10k is a huge budget compared to my 3k budget, and I'm pretty annoyed that someone can be so rude about that. Not everyone has mommy and daddy to pay for their wedding, some of us actually have to pay for our own weddings! My wedding will still look freakin awesome, I just won't have dropped 75k on one day, that a lot of people probably won't even remember!

OK so I'm sick of being a size 16!! Some other people are happy and fine with it, but i'm not. The second pic is me, in 2004, and damn, I wish I looked like that again, um yea, i was like a size 11, that'd be me on the right! So here's to losing 40lbs, if not 50. I've been doing decent at working out this week, and hopeuflly i stay motivated. it's horrible, but when I get down I totally look up my husbands ex and see pix of her and how we've switched, shes all super skinny and cute, and yea, i've had two kids and look like shit, lol. Having kids is not an excuse. I'm sick of hearing, "you look great for having two kids". that's like telling a fat girl she has a pretty face, its bullshit. Just my two cents. i for once would love to hear "wow you look great".
Now if only these stupid cramps would go away so that i was able to work out instead of being curled up into a ball feeling like death! Gotta love being female right? |

Centerpieces
Decisions, Decisions.....
So at first i saw the sparkly crystals hanging from manzanits branches and was in love.......then there was the ostrich feather centerpieces...... and now there is this....
Anyone who knows me, knows I have really bad ADD.....i mean originally my colors were red and black, then they were pink and green, and finally (I'm not allowing myself to change the colors anymore!), they are pink and champagne. I have not yet figured out my centerpieces though.... So this is my newest love for centerpieces, as I'm trying to not break the bank! This seems reasonable to me! |

I just bought this......thank goodness my bday was a week ago or so, cause otherwise, i wouldn't have bought it, but I did!!! That I did!!! Hooray! I am so in love!!! If you can't tell i'm just a little bit excited. But I saw it and about died right there. I'm so glad I happened upon that website. i've shown a few people and they have said its definitely my style, which since I don't really know any of you on here, so you wouldn't really know, but is just loud, haha. So I have looked at so many hairstyles that my head hurts, but I love this one! I'm actually gonna get my hair done in a few weeks, I refuse to be a brunette, and this is mostly blonde, and I have to have some pink, so replace the brunette with the pink and there's my hair! I hadn't seen anything like this before, well how its up and knotted like that I mean. Can't have anything too crazy, don't want to compete with my dress and veil!
