Wedding Dress
First stop....

As soon as I got engaged I started the search for "THE" dress! I already knew that I loved Pronovias dresses, having come across many when helping my best friend find her wedding dress, so the first thing that I did was to book an appointment at the Bond Street store. I looked through their website everyday for about a month prior to the appointment and totally fell in love with a couple of them. I also made two other appointments in local bridal shops so that I could try on some non-Pronovias dresses, although I was convinced that these appointments would be a waste of time as I already knew which dress I wanted. I went to the Bond Street appointment with my mum and sister and was totally blown away by one of the dresses. It was a stunning fishtail strapless lace dress and was beautiful. My sister's eyes popped out of her head when she saw me and I couldn't believe that it was me in the dress.....my figure looked amazing. The only problem was that it was £500 over my budget. I went away working out a way to save the extra £500 as I had to have that dress. The next day I went to another appointment at a local shop and tried on many lovely, but quite boring, white dresses. They all looked nice on me but nothing compared to the dress in Pronovias. I was about to announce to my mum that the Pronovias dress was the one for me when the sales lady bought out one last dress. It was a lacy fishtail number with a big grey flower around the middle. As soon as I tried it on, it felt like the right dress. When I walked out of the dressing room my mum got tears in her eyes and when I saw myself I got goosebumps. It looked amazing and my mum said that I looked like a delicate little doll in it! I instantly fell in love. I went away knowing that this was the dress for me but my mum convinced me to go to the last appointment which was a few days later. I did go to the appointment but it was a half-hearted experience. All I could think about was the dress with the grey flower. A few days later I ordered the dress of my dreams! Yay!

I ALMOST bought that Enzoani dress ...I have a post about it on my blog. It was the very first dress that I tried on, and same thing, my mom and bridesmaids cried and I was elated. Seeing as it was the first dress that I tried on, I obviously had to go to my other appointments and try on more dresses. I thought for sure it was the "the one" until I tried on "the one," which is a Provonias (photo on my blog) The thing I loved the most about it was the platinum flower, and that was the thing that everyone else ended up not liking. Good choice....it is a beautiful dress!!! :)
