I know I haven't officially begun doing my updates, but between spring cleaning and recovering from the wedding and honeymoon, there hasn't been any time (read: I'm lazy). I still have to re-size most of the pics I want to use, but I have about 10 post raring to go, along with vendor reviews!
I will instead start off with some of the items I neglected to post about pre-wedding. Meet our programs!
We kinda borrowed the cover idea from Two Paper Dolls. I initially wanted to order our suite from them, but Nick was opposed to paying when my sister was willing to hook us up for free! The program guts weren't that spectacular... it was just a classic Catholic ceremony. My side for the most part is not Catholic, so we decided just to go the quick route sans mass.

I totally copied the "note from us" from a sample template I googled. Nick was supposed to write something from the heart, but ran out of time. Oh well... like I always say, when in doubt, Google is your friend! It reads:
"Thank you for coming to our wedding celebration.
It means a great deal to us that you are witnesses to our
marriage vows, and we want you to feel welcome to this place.
Father Roy will signal when to stand, sit, or kneel, and this program will serve as a guide to the order of the service.
We encourage you to listen, pray, and sing!
In order to respect the dignity of the ceremony, we ask that there be no flash pictures taken during the service.
There will be time for pictures after the service concludes."
And the back page reads:
"Dear friends and family,
We would like to thank all of you for helping us
celebrate this very happy day.
We are especially grateful for the unconditional love,
support and understanding of our parents.
We hope you enjoy this wonderful day!"
We decided to go with Canon in D for the processional which is one of my favourites... and Arrival of the Queen of Sheba for the recessional. We chose to that song without even hearing it... our planner suggested it. I still don't know how the song sounds. I kinda clued out once we got hitched. I guess I will have to Google the song or wait four our awesome feature from
StillMotion.

Here's a glamour shot with the basket purchased from
Peir 1. It originally came with a beige cloth liner in beige which did not go with the colour scheme... so my moms took it apart and cut out a new liner from the same pick fabric used for my
jacket.

And here is my nephew/junior groomsman Stephan holding the basket prior to the ceremony.

That's it for now... I be back soon with more updates. Promise :)
