It's official!!!!!!We're Married!!!!!!
So we are now a Mr. and Mrs!!! After a couple weeks, and enjoying the newly wed bliss, I now have time to come back. I want to thank each bride for the comments, suggestions and support. Everything went fabulous we had an absoloutly beautiful sunny day not too hot and no rain, it was awesome! Everything went so smooth and sooo fast. These are some of the non-pro pics I have gathered.

Best Bridal Shower EVER

My bridal shower was this past Saturday and I had such a wonderful time even though my FH family had a tragic event, which I will explain later. My grandma and my aunt did such a woderful job, the theme was black and red. It was so nice to enjoy my family and not worry about the wedding. I was really sad though that no one from my FH's family came though. I got sooo much stuff which I am very thankful.

Candy Buffet
Almost complete
I can't wait to see the wedding buffet all pulled together, my something barrowed is going to be the vases from friends and family. Hopfully I get them all rounded up at the show this weekend at get a mock-up done. I found the most decently priced candy at Target $7.49/pound verses the Sweet Factory at the mall for $11.16/pound. I got these super cute black floral damask bags from ebay, 100 bags with ties for 13.50 with free shipping. The last pic is where the candy buffet will go at the venue.

Centerpieces
Finally made a desion
I posted a while back that I wanted to do stick centerpieces, well after much thought and not being able to get enough matching sticks for the vases, I am now leaning more towards the submerged flowers. I really like the elegant look of roses. I think two or three red roses in my 21in. tall vases will look very elegant. And since I don't want to pay the florist $15-20 a vase, I think they will be pretty simple to do.

I am super excited about my shower this weekend, my aunt and grandma have been planning for awhile. I have alot of family coming into town and maybe it will give me some time to not think about what else I need to get done and relax. I got a new car!!!!!!
I am so excited, since my hunny is such a huge GM fan he talked me into a Pontiac G8 and I'm glad he did, because I love it!!!! Since they only made this car for two years, they are not very easy to find, after much searching I finally found the color I wanted and we went to Louisana (which is out of state and about 260miles from our house) to pick it up this weekend. It's just like driving a 4 door 'vette. Very fast and super sexy!

Something Blue
What are you using.....
After much thought I have decided to paint my toenails blue for my something blue. I found the perfect shade of blue at sallys this weekend. Its made by China glaze and the color is called For Audrey. I was going to do shoe rhinestones but at this point I don't really need any more DIY projects and were already over budget. So I found something even better, buy a blue sharpie and havd your BM's sign the bottom of your shoe and leave a note. Pretty cool way to involve your best gals on your "something blue", don't you think?

So I finally decided to order the dresses from ebay seller capesforalloccasions the other night, I've got my fingers crossed that they are not too incredibly cheap or tacky. They shipped out yesterday so they shoud be here this weekend.

Started to assemble the programs this weekend and got half of them done. I love the way they have turned out. I still think we're going to add red ribbons. That means another trip to Michaels.....
*Beware-the spray adhesive glue makes a huge mess, so we decided to use the permanent double sided tape and I think it has a better hold than the spray glue. |
