When passion becomes obsession.
At 11:30pm yesterday I did begin to wonder if I'm going slightly insane with wedding stuff. Then I remembered that I don't care because however small the wedding, however inexpensive - success is in the planning. You can't plan too much right? I hope not.

I've been thinking about flowers, what kind of flowers are traditional and what look terrible in a bouquet (!), I love tulips but I'm wondering if JUST tulips is going to look okay?

I've also been having a moan about the colour scheme. I initially chose pink because it is my favourite colour, I love it and my fiance knows I won't go mad with it. However, I'm starting to wonder if purple might look better, a dark purple with ivory and black could look very elegant. But I'm planning a late spring/early summer wedding and it might not look right with the outdoor ideas I have going on. Any advice on how to choose the right colour scheme, colours that go etc?

If I were you I would stick with the pink... It just seems more cheery and bright to me for a spring wedding. I was also wondering about the solo tulip thing.... I've been trying to find some pictures to see what it would look like but I'm not having much luck.

I agree with the person below pink is better for the summer. Besides your wedding will be in 2011 you have enough time to relax and do abeautifull thing for your guests.
