Wedding Cake

tasting went GREAT today!

hello my beautiful brides!

just to update you girls! i have been having a hard time with planning!! for one, i have started to 2nd guess myself about basically everything:

*ive changed my girls dresses,
*i had to fire the photographer i had (too many bad reviews),
*also met with another decorator since i had began to think that i was gonna have to fire my original decorating lady but she has gotten her mind right since i had to become a bridezilla! LOL
*the cake lady i met with first was ok but i got her to do nephews cake and it wasnt up to my "wedding standards" so just when i thought EVERYTHING was going wrong it led me to today!

like i said, i was iffy about my first cake person, i scheduled to meet with another one that i met at a bridal show not too long ago.

and it was PERFECT!!! very nice person, knowledgeable and does darn good work! with even greater prices!!!!

this is not my cake but smthg very similar!
so after all of my stressful moments in the last month or so, things are beginning to look up!

Bridesmaid-Contract

1st mtg went well!!!!

i met with half of my BM last night!!! and i must say it went extremely well!!!! AND they signed their contracts with NO problems!!! as i knew they would!!!! LOL we got alot accomplished and i really enjoyed them!!!! now i really see why the had to be in bridal party!!!! mtg with the other half will be toma hoping for another success story!!!!

in other news, we took our engagement photos and ill upload a few when we get the disc..

and another thing has been checked off the list, i found a great photographer with a GREAT price, mtg with him in a few weeks (once my sch is freed up) alot going on!

also, i have a potentail make up artist meet with her next week as well

i have the templet of my invites and programs!!! thanks to one of my BM who lives for DIY projects!!! (saving money)

so with all that being said i am a happy bride!!!!!

when i come from work this evening i had my freebies from vistaprint waiting on me!!!!! i was like a kid in a candy store opeing the boxes!!! i love everything that i ordered which was the folowing:

browsing WBC i found a site decoratemywedding.com and has fallen in love with the crystal....i think my theme is falling into place!!!!!! however the things i like are REALLY EXPENSIVE so, now im on the lookout for my crystals but cheaper!!!!! so if u know of some or come across some please inform me...thanks in advance!!!!

I am a very simple and clean type of person. Im looking to have a very elegant wedding! My FH has finally approved my colors which are regency(purple, my fav) cornflower (blue, FH fav) wisteria and splash of silver!!! I have very helpful ppl in my corner and Im very excited about the planning!!!!
