contract!?!?!?

ok ladies, ive been hearing of this contract thing!!!! it simply list all of your expectations from them as BM in your wedding along with costs of dresses shoes how you want their hair and etc, i am seriously considering one because i have 14 10 BM 3 MOH and 1 matron!!!

i mean its made to be fun all the while serious as well!!!

what are your thoughts?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!????

I think if I made a contract for my BMs they would look at me like I was out of my mind! haha With that being said I don't have 14 of them lol I think if it was funny then it would be ok but some girls may take it wrong and it may end up backfiring on you instead of helping, but you know your girls best so if you think it will be helpful for you and your girls then go for it :) If you decide to do it you should let us know... I would be interested to see how they react and if it was helpful!

yeah i think for me it would be a bit weird coz it would feel forced but if u have 14 i think a contract or list of expectations is a reasonable way of asking them what to do coz repeating everything 14 times is no fun!

wouldnt use it myself they would think i've gone nuts hahahahaha but your case is different, i think you should base using the contracts on your previous communication with them. If you've had issues with communicating with them on stuff and them agreeing with your vision then use it, but if not i dont think its necessary #just my opinion :) xox

That's cute and funny. You could do it in a light hearted way, but still be kind of serious. I don't know what kind o f girls you have...some may see it as an insult. I personally wouldn't have an issue, but I am a bride and I know the kind of drama that comes with bridal parties. I can only imagine with 14 girls.

Maybe also make a contract for yourself to give to them and that would be a little better .

LOL, I'm a crazy person and all my friends know that. :-)  I choose not to worry about bridemaids and a bridal party for this reason. Stress free and I know I will not have any drama.  Things on this contract, they might be insulted or embarrassed, but hey??? It is your wedding! You could make it more humerous than so harsh.  Good luck!

and i agree too they may look at it wrong, BUT just as i know them they know me!!!! i like organization!!!! and yeah it would be in a jokingly AND serious way!!!! i just want everyone to be aware of everything and by having it no one can say they didnt know!!!

Personally, I think this is a brilliant idea! lol...esp with 14 girls. U know ur girls better than anyone of us and vice versa. Do wht ur gut tells u honey. If it backfires, that particular BM may not been such a good choice anyways and prob would have caused problems down the line! Like live2sing said, let us kno if u do decide to do it, I'd LOVE 2c their reactions...
