porcelainbride's Green wedding

WW2 propaganda style STD. The date etc. would be on the back of the postcard. We thought it was cute because I grew up in a military family, and Chris is joining the marines after we get married.

probably my favourite out of all of them. Who doesn't know this picture?

similar to the one before it, but tweaked a bit.
so cute... definitely gets the message across at least!

Ask a Question
Save The Date Designs... what do you reckon?

Since we're changing our invitations, and since Chris can't stand the chandelier design I came up with for our save the dates originally, not to mention it doesn't really go with anything we're interested in, I'm completely changing the STD's. They need to go out at the end of the summer/beginning of fall so that everyone has a year to save and get their plans in order (since everyone will be coming from out of town).

Originally I was going to do little greeting card style ones because i think magnets are overdone these days (not to mention, they're stupidly ridiculous, and if you've ever seen an english fridge you'll know that there's *no where* to stick a magnet) but I'm pretty sure I'm going to do postcards now. I've got a pretty good printer so I'll just run them through the printer then seal them with a waterproof spray or laminate them once I have them all written out.

Anyway, let me know which one you like best- i need some input because Chris is hopeless!

(fyi- we both have very 40's type mentalities and we're trying to channel a bit more of a 40's feel to the wedding)

if you print them using a kodak picture printer (like the machines at Wal-mart, etc.) they come with a waterproof coating.  Just a thought!

I love both of the 1st two. Just depends if you want a more humorous or romantic feel. Cute ideas :)
