napkin rings
napkin rings
A new DIY project
adorable napkin rings!

How time consuming do you reckon it would be to make 100+ napkin rings? I've got this idea- you can buy wholesale/bulk collections of antique/old brooches or necklace pendants on ebay for really cheap so I'm thinking as a way to dress up the tables, I'd make napkin rings using the brooches. I'm not entirely sure how i'd do it though. Ribbon? cheap plastic napkin rings with ribbon tied around them to cover them up and then hot glue the brooch to it or slip it through the ribbon so that it could be used again?
I'm thinking about using something like these
24 VINTAGE SILVER GOLD HEAVY PINS BROOCHES BULK
Sparkle Lot Brooch Pins Vintage
obviously, some of them are pretty tacky, but some of them are pretty nice. I thought it would add just that little bit of glitz & whimsy to the tables considering I'm planning on having the tables pretty simple.

Make a ring out of a ribbon and then just pin the brooch on the fold or even a bow. I'll have to make a mockup and post to show you what I'm talking about. I'm like a little puppy that's about to go wee wee from excitement about this!
