I told my mother that I need her final list for the guestlist this week yeah, lets see if that happens! I need to get Chris to sit down and start really doing his too- I want to start getting STD's printed out & addressed in the next few weeks because I'd ideally like them to go out in August.

I also can't get in touch with Melissa (my super flaky bridesmaid)- she was home for fathers day and never contacted me, I emailed her like 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything, and when I called yesterday she turned my call off. At this point, I don't care what's going on with her she just needs to contact me. I'm giving her until the end of the week- if I don't hear from her by friday I'm going to call and pray that i get a hold of her. If not, I'm leaving her a message asking her to get back to me in 48 hours (even if its just to say that she's been busy) otherwise I'm going to assume she's not interested in being a bridesmaid anymore but she's still more than welcome to attend the wedding and that I still love her dearly.

It looks like we've lost a groomsman too- Apparently Dave's been going down a rocky road since he got married earlier in the year. Honestly, i don't blame him- if I was married to his bitch-heiffer-wife, I'd probably do the same things. He's started drinking heavily and last week he was picked up by the cops for possession with intent to distribute. He called Chris to bail him out, and Chris bailed him for possession a few years ago, telling him that he'd never do it again. When he called this time Chris had no sympathy, and really could've cared less. Drugs are one thing that Chris is absolutely not willing to deal with at any costs.

So, that's one bridesmaid, and one groomsman out. I'm perfectly happy with only 3 of each, but he's still insisting upon 4. Why? Because he wants our assistant property manager who he's been good friends with for years to be one of the groomsmen. Thats fine- Amy, Dominic's wife and I get along brilliantly and I wouldn't mind having her as a BM but I know Dominic's a total flake. He always says he's going to do something and then never does it. I'm worried if he's a GM he'll end up backing out at the last minute because he "forgot" even if Amy keeps on at him about stuff. I don't see why we need 4 attendants each. We only have 100 people attending.
