I'm excited. Chris' mom is finally acknowledging that there's actually going to be a wedding, and she's diving into being involved- head first! We're going shopping in Burlington on Saturday morning with Amy and possibly Emily, then Diane (Chris' mom) and I are going to browse around the Flea Market on Sunday morning to look for cheap antique brooches to get started on the napkin rings.

While we were talking about dresses, she asked if I'd ever caught the show "Say Yes to the Dress" on TLC. I haven't seen it, but I've heard about it from a few other people. Diane said that if I wanted to, she'd arrange for us to go up to Manhattan for a weekend, or even just a day trip- catch an early morning flight, go to Kleinfield Bridal and spend some time around there, then catch a late-night flight home. It won't happen until Fall, but she said if i do the leg work to find out about the store and get an appointment etc. set up with them, then she'll sort out the flights and if we need a hotel, then she'd sort that out too. She said if we stayed the night up there, she'd pay for tickets to a broadway show, and she'd take me to dinner at one of her favourite restaurants. I'm shocked! I didn't think she liked me THAT much! haha.
