porcelainbride's Green wedding

So, i decided since I had some time to kill today, I'd swing past an itsy-bitsy little bridal store that's about 10 minutes from my house. I hadn't been in there before and doing research, it looked like they carried some pretty decent designers- eden, bari jay, and a few others. I spent 20 minutes driving up and down the road looking for it and I hadn't got a clue. I pulled into a service station/gas station where thankfully one of the girls in the office knew what I was talking about. She gave me directions and I found it without a problem.

I got in there, and I was the only person there, and there was only one attendant- the owner of the store. It was marvellous! We had so much fun together. I tried on practically every dress in the store (most of them were bridesmaid dresses) and she was really cool about the fact that I don't want something prissy. She keeps her wedding gown- a beautiful ivory dress with a plunging neckline by demetrios in the back of the store. When i was telling her what I was looking for she's like "hold on. I'll be back in a second" and she ran into the back and brought out her dress. She's like "do you want something like this?" Yes!! perfect! beautiful! Then she goes on to say that it's not for sale, but it gives her a pretty good idea what I'm looking for. She also said that I could try it on. It wasn't until I came out of the dressing room that she told me it was hers. I almost started crying- i felt so honored that she'd let me try on her dress!

Anyway, there's the photos. I wasn't over the top thrilled with any of the dresses, but they were nice.
