The GOOD Experience
So with only one really bad thing the wedding was perfect!
I was awake just after 6 am and started my hair then my sister's arrived after 7 and my hair was finished. Started my older sister's, younger sister's and my sister in law hair and I was finished before 9! Then the makeup. I was on time!! The photographer showed up at 10:30 and started taking pictures and I can't wait to see them. We showed up early to the hall but my mom made dad drive around until it 1pm. Before I got out of the car the photographer took some photos, and then the water works started! (good thing for the tears of joys) I couldn't stop crying, I'm sure all my makeup came off. Once we were in the hall I had to tell the girls how they were walking down because the night before we didn't get a chance for a rehearsal. So once they started to go down the aisle to their song the flower girls went and so did Ben (ring bearer) Well he didn't last very long, once the flower girls started dropping the petals he would say 'oh no' and pick them up and the youngest flower girl told him 'no' so he came back to me and dad. I was waiting forever for my song to come on, and I was told after that Hubby had said ' is she coming' haha, then I heard mom say to switch the song. The good news is I didn't cry cry walking down the aisle but once I got up to the front I had to reach for my hanky. It stopped raining after the ceremony so after I hugged everyone and cried some more and after applying makeup again we went outside for photo's. We spent a good 2 hours taking photo's and when we were almost finished we asked how many she had taken since the morning and she had over 700!!! She had to get another SD card. The nice thing was she had an assistance and she was taking candid photo's all night. The reception was great I told the MC do just go with the flow and she did. I wasn't aloud in the kitchen because they thought I would help them cook, but I just wanted to check on things. So catering your own wedding is possible with great family members! My mom, auntie and best mans fiance served the whole head table which was nice of them. During the dinner we had the best man, maid of honor and parents say something. Then my best friend got up and she didn't even have 10 words out of her mouth and I was crying! Then it was time for the cake cutting, I didn't want to cut the cake since I worked so hard on it! Ben was super tired and didn't want to be put down so he cut the cake with us, and ate it with us. It was so cute. Ben even joined us for our first dance, it was really nice, me and hubby talked the whole time and couldn't wait for the song to be over. But the whole night was great, I only fell once while I was dancing and I still laugh about it! Good thing no photo's were taken hahaha. Then my sister in law bought us a hotel room for the night and we didn't even enjoy it, I wasn't even in the door for 10 secs and was trying to get the dress off, I found out that I had bruises on my rib cage cause it was so tight (thanks mom), then I hit the bed and out like a light and slept in till 10 and our gift opening was suppose to be at 11 but it was a good thing because no guest's decided to join us for it haha. |

The BAD experience!!
I would like to say that our wedding ran smoothly but I can't.
I would have if a certain MIL wasn't there!! She made it the so hard for me and my hubby to relax. He invited his father to the wedding and his mother and his father haven't been together since hubby was 2. So he asked everybody if he should invite him and everyone including his mother said 'YES'. So one would think there wouldn't be any issue's having his father here well wrong!!!!! It was horrible! and to top it off his sister's mom (half sister) came too and all you heard was those two women putting down his father and I have never meet the guy so I couldn't say much. I wasn't stressed out until his mom and sister's mom came and after that I have a melt down, they were being so bitter towards his father that I had to leave the room. The wedding day was no better! I wanted family photo's that includes me, hubby, his mom and his father. Well his mom got all pissed off and didn't want to be in the photo's and after they were taken she tell's hubby that she doesn't want them up on facebook (oh well!) So many people tried talking to her and telling her that you can put your difference aside for one day and let the newlyweds enjoy there day. His father was great! Even helped bbq and didn't say anything negative about hubby's mom. A few friends even told me that she was crying and everything. And the best part is when my mom and her got into a huge fight over holding onto my son!! I should have said something when I had the chance but I didn't want to get in the middle, I thought my mom was gonna punch her! They day after was going good until we opened the one card from his father and hubby said thanks and thanks for the other gift (money his mom didn't know about) and after that every photo she has a sour look on her face! How am I going to scrapbook those! We were all glad when she went home Monday! |

Our big day has finally came and gone and it was amazing!!
Everything went great minus the weather. It decided to rain so we had a indoor ceremony but it was beautiful. The weather stopped just long enough for our photos to be taken outside. I cried like a baby! I was fine driving to the hall but once I had to get out of the car the water works started and I couldn't stop until we took photo's. The ceremony was perfect, we didn't have our first kiss when we were suppose too we let the guest's wait it out until we walked down the aisle and sat for a bit then we made an appearance and kissed in the doorway. We don't like kissing in public! But all in all it was a great night. And I love being a Mrs!!! |

Bachelorette Party
Had a Blast!!
I didn't have that many girls show up some last minute changes but I had a blast either way.
My mom, dad, brother, and two sisters, FMIL, and one friend came. It was really funny because we had a passion's party and dad and my brother just stayed outside until my FH came home and took them to supper haha. The Passion's party was so funny I felt sorry for the lady that had to stand there and talk me and my sister were so bad, I don't think she will forget us! But I recommend having a Passion's party it was really good and I got a lot of free goodies just having a party and then being a bride to be, I made enough for a show and got 25% off an item, so I bought a body butter. Then my FH surprised us with a limo to one of the clubs in town, we were suppose to have the VIP treatment but it never happened so they will be getting a call today. The limo ride was great but so dark I couldn't even talk photo's with my phone. :( I hauled everyone to the bar even the parents, but it was really boring I don't think we lasted a hour, I guess were just to old for the clubs. |

14 days!!
WOW!! 14 days does not seem real! It still feels like we have 2 months left.
I am finishing up some DIY projects, I bought a new vase for our memorial candle the last one didn't look good and I found a poem. Bachelorette favors are all bagged and ready to go for next saturday, and everything else that needed to be done for it is finished, minus the cake. I have one more DIY project left and I'm waiting for my FSIL to get her to finish it. FMIL get's in next friday at noon! Then my FSIL gets in on the 21st. I'm so excited! We are getting the rest of the things for the reception since we are catering our own dinner we have to buy everything! I have napkins, straws and table covers (pink) We found some nice plates and cutlery and cups for the bar. I think we are buying the alcohol this weekend or early next week I'll have to watch it like a hawk so FH doesn't start drinking it lol But so far so good! I can't wait to see what the weather is gonna be tomorrow with the 14 day trend with weather network haha so far it's nice all the way up to the 24 so finger's crossed. |

Wedding Reception
Our Second Reception
We are having two receptions, one here for my family and one back in Newfoundland for my FH.
His mom is paying for that wedding which is gonna be cheaper then this one, since it's just the reception. It's really hard to give over all control when I'm such a control freak but I found my ways of doing stuff, I'll be making my cake and I still have all say about the decorations, the only thing I didn't have a say in was the food :( But FH's cousin emailed me some pictures of the hall and I can already see how I want it decorated! I just have to figure out how to write the invitations for reception only..... |

So my sexy lingerie came in today and I was so excited I didn't waste anytime getting my photo's done.
I think they turned out pretty good and I already ordered a photo book for FH wedding's gift. I'll just post two of them. But they look amazing! I think everyone should get them done, you feel and look sexy no matter what. |

So I finally finished mom and MIL wrist corsages and they look amazing!
I'm gonna make dad a boutonniere like this and the groomsmen and FH will have the paper flower ones so they match us girls. I'm getting really excited! I have one more DIY project but I'm gonna wait closer to the wedding to finish it. So I think my DIY project's are finished! |

We finally found a little suit for Ben, I think he looks like a lil Chip n Dale Dancer haha.
We were gonna go to the same place that we rented the suits for the FH and his men but they wanted $100 for a tiny suit, yes we keep it but $100! So we went to Sears and I was in heaven! I found a little suit, with a pink shirt and it was the only one in his size, it was on sale from $29.99 to $21.99! That's a great price and he looks very sexy. Then the shoes, I just wanted to get him a little pair of Puma's but then FH went to the Children's Place and was shopping so I went to another store and he came and found me and said he has a surprise for me..... He pulls out these little dress shoes, I seen the price tag $19.99, then he said they were the only ones left and were on sale for $6! How great is that! We were way under budget for his entire outfit! So make sure you shop around for the little suit's they are way cheaper then the tux stores. |
