Flower Girls
Dress and Shoes
My sister finally finished shopping for my nieces, so one other thing checked off my list!
She couldn't find any nice white summer dresses so she found pink ones instead, she has to buy 3 so I told her whatever she can find that's not to expensive. The dresses are $18 and super cute! They can't wear a necklace because of the neckline which is fine, they broke the last ones I gave them. lol The shoes are really cute, I wanted them to have silver but, my sister couldn't find them in the sizes she needed so she found these ones at Payless and they were $30! But then it will go with their earrings and hairpiece with the diamond in it. I can't wait to see how they will look all dressed and hair and I'm sure they will want some makeup too. And for a hairstyle I'm just gonna curl it, two of my nieces have long hair and one has short so it will look good both ways. |

Hair Accessories
I made all the maids and flower girls hair accessories today, it really didn't even take that long, I was kinda disappointed that I finished so soon. but they look great.
First picture is the flower girls- I made one headband and two clips, they can decide who wants to wear what Second picture is the bridesmaids- they are all the same I just used silk instead of cotton material Third picture is the earrings for the flower girls, My older niece doesn't have her's pierced so I might see about clip on or maybe just take and get her ear's pierced haha. If you want to know how to make them let me know and I will post a tutorial they are super easy to make. I love them! I even made something special for my mom and FMIL but I have to wait until I get one more item then I'll post them up. |

30 days
and counting
I can't believe I am in my last month!
I love checking the mail because all most everyday I get a RSVP, and right now we are sitting at 42 people, which is really good. I wrote out my checklist and it's under 20 task's to finish so I'm really excited about that. I keep on finding more DIY projects to make and I'm sure FH is getting annoyed with that lol. My FMIL booked her flight so she get's in on the 17th of June one day before my Bachelorette party, so I'm sure her and FH will have to find something to do, my FSIL get's in on the 21st of June, so I'll be super busy. I still don't know what kind of cake to have and still trying to figure out the menu and the alcohol list, which I think we sorta figured out what we want to get. But so far not stressing and working on my tanning, don't want any tan lines haha. |

Finshed Picture Frames
They turned out perfect! Way better then I was thinking!
The first frame is us together The second frame is us as a baby, graduation, and before we met. I plan on hanging them in the front entrance of the hall, everyone will see them better there then inside the reception area seen in the third photo. I can't wait to use them! |

Product Review
Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer
This concealer is amazing!
A heavy duty, multi-use concealer that provides ultimate coverage. Formula blends flawlessly into skin. Hide everything from dark circles and blemishes to tattoos. I am a different skin tone then my FH so it looks really dark on his skin, but it does cover tattoos. It also works great for blemishes, so now we can have flawless skin on our wedding day or even cover up a tattoo if you want. full review and photos at: shabbymakeupandmore.blogspot.com |

Bridemaids Survival Kits
I finished the survival kits last night and they look amazing!
Each kit is different one doesn't have tampons or pad, one has pads, and the other one has tampons. My older sister is the lucky one who doesn't need anything lol So each kit has Hand lotion Deodorant Lip Balm Kleenex And Tampons and pads I was gonna add hair pins, breath mints and band aids, but I made a basket for the bathroom with all that in so I didn't feel the need to add it for the girls. |

Slave Lake, Alberta Fire
The northern Alberta town of Slave Lake is partially in ruins after a devastating, fast-moving wildfire caught community officials off guard.
The damage is catastrophic. Hundreds of homes, churches and businesses have been destroyed. So too has the town hall, library and radio station. The power is out, cellphone service has been spotty, and 7,000 residents were forced to flee through a single road, the only highway open as fires rage on all sides. Fire crews had little control they managed to save the south part of the town, but remained at the mercy of strong winds, gusting up to 100 kilometres an hour. Its extremely devastating, our loss. Its difficult to articulate, Slave Lake Mayor Karina Pillay-Kinnee said late Sunday. A lot of things were battling now. There were no reports of injuries. About 70 firefighters from the Edmonton area headed north to assist in the fight, and provincial officials say equipment and roughly 200 firefighters from B.C. and Ontario are expected to arrive by Tuesday to help. Most of the town is gone including, city hall the library, police station, most of the down core, the high school the big truck stop on 88 all burnt down, not to mentions most of the houses too. Not to mention all the other wildfires burning in Alberta last total I seen was 73. The town and people of Slave lake you are in my thoughts. and hoping for some rain. |

DIY Wedding
Picture Frames
Yes another DIY project with only 41 days to go.
I thought I was finished but I keep finding new things. When FH and I went to the hardware store in town -it's closing everything was 50% off! I came across these two frames, their plastic and they were only $3/ea so we grabbed two. Then I was thinkin 'well heck let's paint them pink!' So I picked up a can of spray paint for $2.50 Total- $8.50! Great price for a DIY project. Your probably thinking what the heck am I gonna do with them. Well the plan is to hang photo's of us using fishing line inside of them, I sent photo's to Walmart, but they ran out of paper and wont be done for a few days...... GRRRR. So once I get photo's in I'll update you all. |
