Hello, ladies! I often get requests for black aisle runners, so I thought I would show just a few that I've done. I don't just do white and ivory runners... if you're looking for a black or colored runner, just let me know what color and length you're looking for, and I'll make it happen. :)
First we have Jessica and Brad's aisle runner complete with elegant flourishes above and below the monogram. Then we have Ashley and Daniel who wanted a monogram of their names and date. Simple and classy! Lastly, Justin and Mikenzie's is actually on a charcoal gray runner, but I thought I would lump it in here. :) They actually used their runner as a photo backdrop! What a genius idea! More custom aisle runner eye candy!
I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday! With our Christmas tree now up, decorated, and lit next to me, I bring you 10 more aisle runners that I've worked on in the past year. :) Congratulations to all of my wonderful couples!
Annie sent me the monogram used on her invitations and asked if I could paint it on her runner. Of course I can! I love the heart-shaped monogram and the elegance of the whole thing... this runner was shipped to Australia for Annie and Charl's wedding this month! Ashley is a friend of mine from high school that requested Monogram B-1 with a glittery silver and black on a white aisle runner. Glitter overlays are getting to be a popular choice... let me know if you'd like some shimmer on your aisle runner! Zack and Becca are getting married on the beach, and they wanted a monogram in coral and teal with the words underneath "sandy toes and salty kisses." I adore it! Berniquea and Courtney requested a twist of Monogram B-1 with the quote "Today I Marry My Best Friend" underneath in a teal and gray. Celia and Giovanni requested Monogram B-1 in burgundy and black for their November wedding in New York. Chalonda e-mailed with a monogram she saw and liked and wondered if I could paint something like that on the runner for her. You can see what we came up with, and I painted it using her wedding colors of fuchsia and navy blue. Courtney requested a white aisle runner with an existing monogram that she provided. I love the simplicity of it... just her and the groom's initials enclosed in a double circle in black paint. I'm glad I was able to get this rush order completed for her in time! Crystal's sister, Aimee, helped her sister order a white aisle runner with Monogram U-9 in black for their November wedding in New Jersey! Crystal and Prometheus needed an extra long 125' runner rush ordered with Monogram B-12 in turquoise and black for their June wedding in Oklahoma. Ebony contacted me requesting an aisle runner in magenta and brown with "A Love Song..." on it along with music notes. Ebony is a singer, and Ryan is a musician and singer, so they wanted to incorporate music into their wedding theme. Custom Aisle Runner Eye Candy!
As promised, let me upload some eye candy for some of the aisle runners that I've been working on in the last year. I've still got about a hundred to upload to play catch up, but thank you to WBC brides for all your support in the last few years! Excited to meet some of the newer WBC brides in search of a custom aisle runner. :)
Allison requested Monogram B-1 with the date spelled out with a glittery silver for the "M" and black for the names and date. Glitter overlays are a great option for those looking for that extra sparkle for only $30 for the initial! Who doesn't like looking at shiny things? :) Amber loved Jenn and Mike's aisle runner (see my facebook cover photo) and wanted one with a monogram just like it! The colors used in theirs was a coral-pink and brown. Alaine and Marques requested Monogram B-3 in indigo and pistachio for their May wedding in South Carolina. Aladrian requested a white aisle runner with Monogram B-11 in red and dark chocolate brown for their wedding in Alabama. Amy was one of the lucky brides that was able to snag the coveted 11.11.11 wedding date. She requested the quote, "Soulmates... Two halves of the same soul joining together in life's journey" on their white swirl patterned aisle runner. Font colors are dark burgundy and coffee brown. Anh contacted me wanting an aisle runner that incorporated the design that her fiance, Khoi, did with their initials. It's an absolutely gorgeous design, and can you believe he created it by hand?! She simply wanted to add their names and date underneath in all black on a white, swirl patterned aisle runner. Ashley requested an ivory french lace patterned aisle runner with monogram B-7 in chocolate brown and cherry red. (Mmmm... chocolate and cherries...) Check out Barbara and Jason's aisle runner... They requested Monogram U-5 with the flourishes in tiffany blue, their names and date in black, and the ampersand in silver. Hi, ladies! It's definitely been a while since my last update (before my maternity leave)! I've painted about 100 aisle runners since the beginning of the year, and I just wanted to take a little bit of time to showcase some photos I've received back for aisle runners in use on their big day. :) If you ordered an aisle runner from me, please don't forget to send me pictures after the wedding! Custom Aisle Runners... last ones before maternity leave!
My last two custom aisle runners that I finished prior to my maternity leave for the baby boy I'm expecting next month!
Kristen provided her own monogram design that I painted in eggplant purple. She also wanted the "Z" and ampersand in a glittery gold and a rhinestone at the bottom of her flourish. Congratulations, Kristen! Anh contacted me wanting an aisle runner that incorporated the design that her fiance, Khoi, did with their initials. It's an absolutely gorgeous design, and can you believe he created it by hand?! She simply wanted to add their names and date underneath in all black on a white, swirl patterned aisle runner. Congratulations, Anh and Khoi! More custom aisle runner eye candy for you ladies! =)
First, Melissa requested Monogram B-12 in blush pink and black on her extra long 125' runner. Kate and Mark requested Monogram B-3 with a slight font change just for the "K" and the "M" in their names. It is in watermelon pink and black. LaShundra showed me her invitations for some inspiration, so we ended up doing Monogram B-12 with some font changes for the name and date to match her modern invitations. The "M" is olive green with a coating a silver glitter overlay, with the names and the date in an eggplant purple. Dusty contacted me already having his own monogram, but wanted to see what Monogram B-2 would look like with their names, date, and colors. They wanted the date in an elegant font to match their names, and they ended up deciding to use my monogram instead for their runner! The monogram is in all black on an ivory runner, and I love how it turned out. Mindy requested Monogram B-11 in eggplant and black on an ivory runner. Custom, Hand-Painted Aisle Runners!
This past week was finals week at graduate school, which means two things... the Spring semester is a wrap for me, and I didn't feel compelled to study or do homework this weekend! I've only got a one week window of time off from school before summer classes start though. I did take a little bit of time this weekend and had a wonderful date night with the hubby which involved going out for wings (at Quaker Steak and Lube for those of you lucky enough to have one in your are) and going to see Fast Five. It's a great movie! Be sure to stick around after the credits for another scene!
Now onto the aisle runners I worked on this weekend... First, we have Danielle and Joseph. They wanted an all black runner with the phrase "Today I Marry My Best Friend." They also wanted everything to be in a cursive script... I love what we came up with! Next, we have a monogram for ANOTHER Danielle! This one, again, was in all black. Danielle requested to keep it simple... just an "M" for the primary initial, the date, and black flourish underneath. Last, but definitely not least, we have Carmen and Mark. Carmen is having a destination wedding in New York City next month and wanted to incorporate that into her aisle runner. She also wanted a simple, cursive "L", and a modern font for their names and date. Custom, Hand-Painted Aisle Runners!
It's no secret that pink is my favorite color, so I absolutely LOVED painting Jenn and Mike's runner. They had a white runner with Monogram B-1 in light pink and black, but requested that the names be in cursive and the date be spelled out. This runner will be on it's way to Canada tomorrow!
This will be the only runner update for this weekend...
