hope u are well!!! with WBC down so much it really is a challenge to be motivated to come back and post but i miss u so much i couldnt stay away!!!! i have butterflies in my stomach daily!! oh my but am so excited!!! i acomplished some things also -got a bling wrap for my bouquet -diamonds confetti for the desert table - all the candy for desert table BUT THE BEST NEWS OF ALL IS: we got our invitations done!!! oh my word after more than 70 back and forth emails between us and patience like mother theresa from MrsHtobe we got our invites!!! ladies i cant say enough how sweet and professional she is!!! she got my vision down to a T and more!!! so if u need invites and rsvps and such head over on her blog!!!Mrshtobe!!! will update more later! mwah!!! OMG!!!60 DAYS, FIST FITTING, SO MUCH HAPPENED!!!
hi my sisters!
i know ive been away... am in south africa, my phone has been having problems and i didt bring my laptop so am offline!!! sucks! but am so excited!!!! i said yes to the dress!!! had my first fitting (gained wheight i was dismayed! but i will lose it) i fell in love with the dress!!! (i never tried it, i saw it and was having i made, its not finished but am loving both of them!!! 1st the isadora from maggie sottero (am having it made) 2nd the babetta from eliane moore am drooling over this one!!! and i got my pumps for the reception party!!!now need to get shoes for civil and cerimony and jewelry and am good am so excited!!!! Christy ur day is so close now how u feling!!! missing u ladies so much! gotta run now. mwah mwah |

OMW am freaking out! so much to get done and the thing that makes me mad and is giving me daily nightmares is the fact that theres so much DIY that i want to do but cant coz am not home and where i am there isnt a lot of options!!! sometimes i just wanna cry but i know My LORD has got my back and it will all be alright! am just going to focus on enjoying my last 90 days before i cross over to the other side (as miss Kayla put it!) hope u are all well and so excited about valentines and how u will be spoiled or will spoil your man!!! i know valentines should be everyday but since we have a day SPECIALLY FOR IT why not? i saw this on a friends status on facebook: Valentine's Day came about in memory of martyrs (mostly named Valentine!) who died for their faith in Jesus Christ... on their way to the gallows they healed the blind... they loved to the point of death because Christ loved them. That's the point of today. Extravagant Christ-like love to who ever may cross your path. Happy Valentine's so heres to my extravagant love to my sisters!! so yesterday i realised that i dont have much time to get my workout done to e as hot as i want on the wedding day (lol) so i decided that from today on, is crunch time!!! so today i started Jillians 30 day shred and lemme tell you am only doing level one and it is no picnic!!! LOL i almost fell down the steps because my legs were so weak and i only did 22 mins! hahahaha anywas, ill keep at it, and tonight ill see if i finish the whole 27 minutes... the second pic is a pic of me today before i started, on the 29th ill post another one, hopefully therell be a difference!!! I JUST LOGGED ONTO MY WEDDING WEBSITE AND SAW THAT I HAVE 100 DAYS UNTIL MY WEDDING!!! AM ASSUMING WBC SAYS 99 BECAUSE ITS A LEAP YEAR!!! am too excited and scared!!! 100 days to enjoy my moms house 100 days to have someone cook for me 100 days to not having to worry about rent payment 100 days to be only a daughter and a sister BUT 100 days to the start of my forever 100 days to be called a wife 100 days to wake up to the man of my dreams 100 days to have my own house 100 days to have my own lazy days in my own house 100 days to have my man all to myself!! i could go on but i wont bore you!!! Hello Ladies!
hope you are all well and enjoying planning! am well, so excited!!!! so,last week after i came back to work, we still hadnt decided on a venue or hadnt found a place to live after the wedding and we had to do that coz fhubby was leaving for the states this week and only returning the week of the wedding! (i know!) 2 anyways after i got to work (i work in another province) i had to ask my boss if i could go home to sort out wedding stuff! (this was after i came back a month long vacartion to sort out wedding stuff! LOL) anyways my boss was nice and gave me 5 days! so i got home and we started cracking! we looked at venues, houses, and on the second day we found both! AM SO EXCITED!!!! (sorry i dont have pics my camera was bateryless LOL) that was a huge wheight off our chests! Fhubby just told me today that the venue is paid off! and is in the process of paying (the rent.. well build after a while)the house!!! eeekkkkk!!!! i cant believe ill have my own house soon!!!!wow! also, with the venue sorted out now i can have the invitations made which am so excited about!!! i found ones online that i can print on my own (see pic) so am having Rhonda from Partyshakers.com do the inside, then ill just change the ribbon to my colors and voila print!!! am sooooooooooo excited!!! will post pics when done!!! so, all in all i had an awesome past week!!! Hello Ladies!
WARNING: LONG POST... Hope you are well and planning is going swimmingly!!!!!! So, browsing through posts today i came across Mrsmagrafftobe`s post about her bridesmaid to be who planned a wedding in 2 weeks just to upstage her and to top it all STOLE her ideas! *how dare she???* I know that at some point some of us have dealt with Jealousy so heres my story... Anyways it reminded me that iam in the same very situation!!! My Older sister (shes actually my cousin but we were raised together by my mom so i consider her my sister) is dating this guy who seemed very nice at the beginning but a year later hes starting to show signs of dodginess!!! but not Only him, but i see that my sister, is doing things either to copy me or competing with me and i only realized it now! Keep in mind that she is a person that i always helped any way i can and even try to find Jobs for her coz shes not working.... i got engaged in Feb last year, a month later she brought her bf home with his family for introductions (tradition) where we found out that the guy lied about where he was from (baaaaaadddd juju) we decided that we would get married in January this year, then she decided that she would get engaged (again we decided when we get engaged tradition) in September last year but postponed to November, then postponed to December a month before i was supposed to be married!! We postponed our wedding to May (for other reasons) and she put her engagement for January! (i still didnt see the correlation) i was home for the whole month of January and kept asking her when the engagement was going to be and she just said "end of January" and i said am sorry i wont see it coz i would be traveling for work. 1 DAY after i arrive at my Job my other sister calls me to tell me that my Older sister cancelled her engagement (which i believe is cold feet on the guys part) and she decided to have her engagement party and wedding on the same weekend (engagement Friday and wedding Saturday) and guess what? SHE POSTPONED IT FOR MAY A WEEK OR 2 BEFORE MY WEDDING!!!! we live in the same house for crying out loud!!! Her reason is: My Boyfriend took his vacation time in may so it has to be then. i mean WTH? He can take any other time he wants, but she dcides that its my day u decide if you wanna come/ help or not. Everybody KNOWS am getting married in May!!! But, am not mad, i decided am not even going to ask her about it, am hurt yes, but am not stressed, i just decided that i will keep planning my things and show her how its done! So ladies, thanks for reading if u have read up to here, but please help me understand what makes a person act like this, not think of others and just yourself? Happy planning!!! |
