Special Songs
After much debate and tons of YouTube searches, I think I have the songs picked...

Wedding Party Introduction - Accidentally In Love - Shrek - Just a fun song to walk in with.

First Dance - Can I have this Dance - High School Musical 3 - I know this looks like an odd choice but the song is really beautiful

Wedding Party Dance - Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime - Dean Martin - Mom's request

Father/Daughter - I Loved Her First - Heartland - I tear up every time with this song

Garter Removal and Toss - Peter Gunn Theme - Terribly funny and I know Victor will just ham it up...find it and listen, you will love it too

Bouquet Toss - Single Ladies - Beyonce - Pretty typical, not terribly concerned with it

Cake cutting - I Wanna Grow Old With You - Adam Sandler - I have always loved this song and it is very short, perfect for cake cutting.

Crystal Table Decor
I wanted a little sparkle on the tables and found just what I wanted in the dollar spot at Target. Each box has about 1 oz of plastic gems, plenty for two tables. I took a couple of pictures, one on black and one on white, I hope you can see it.

Mom wanted to put confetti in the shape of a bride and groom on the table but I wanted something different. These look like little pieces of glass or ice and I think they will look great with the candle light. Anyone else using sparkles on the table?

Table Numbers
After lots of help from Victor and his computer and a few trips to the scrapbook store and Kinkos, the table numbers are done. I used our "P" square and had Victor put the numbers on top. After printing them out and shrinking them, I glued them to black cardstock and DONE!

You can't see, but the paper is a little shimmery. I don't know if anyone will be able to see int he dark ballroom but at least I will know. Now only 1000 more things to do! Good thing today is the last day of school so now I can focus only on the wedding.

Toasting Flutes
I borrowed my flutes from my mom and they were fine, simple clear and black glass but I wanted to add something to it...and I found the perfect rub-ons at Walmart. It took a little practice but they finally stuck on and it looks great.

I added the bride and groom scrapbook stickers to the bottom of the rub on. Now I think they are finished. I hope they show up in the pictures.

Unity Candle
I finished my unity candle this weekend and I love the way it turned out. Victor bought the stand off ebay for about 20 bucks. The big candle I bought at Michaels with my 40% coupon, the tapers I grabbed at Walmart for super cheap. The decorations were just a few dollars at the scrapbook store. All in all, much more affordable than ordering from the wedding magazines.

The center candle is wrapped with a clear sheet of scrapbook paper that I cut to the right size. I just taped it together with scotch tape. The back isn't terribly pretty but no one will see the back (I hope). I wanted something on the tapers so I used a small rub on to add a little embelishment.

One more thing off the list!

Our Floor Cling
I just got our floor cling in the mail and I love it. It looks big enough that it should show up on our pictures. I would love to save it and put it on our window at home after the reception but I imagine it will be very scuffed up.

Did anyone have this at your wedding? What did it look like after? Could you save it?

Personalized Floor Cling
Victor surprised me with a gift for the reception,,,a floor cling for the dance floor with our names on it. I don't have a picture of ours yet but I will be sure to post when I do. He ordered from Oriental Trading and it was only 15.00, not too expensive. Hopefully it will show up when we are dancing.

Bridal Shower
So much fun!
I had my bridal shower on Saturday and had such a good time with all my bridesmaids and friends. They rented a room at a local restaurant and we sat around and played bridal games, ate yummy bar food, opened presents and finished with a delicious ice cream cake.

Thanks to all my girls for such a great day!

I cam home with tons of presents, including the pots and pans that Victor and I were so anxious to get. The girls were very generous and I am so grateful for everything. I was terribly anxious to open everything but I was a good bride and wrote all my thank you cards first...then I ripped everything open =)

How was your shower? I got things off my registry...did anyone get nighties or other more personal things?

Wedding Gift Registry
Our first gifts!!
Victor called last night and told me that we already have some things off the Target registry. I was so excited! We already have a new blender, two camp chairs and a set of glasses. Whoo hoo! We don't really need anything, and we both said that we would be fine if we didn't get anything but it is nice to know that at the end of all the planning and money spent on our part, we will be getting a small part of it back.

Is it bad that I am this excited?! Has anyone else checked their registries? What was the first gift you received?
