Last post as a single lady :(
Hey all you great gals, I will be extremely busy this week getting things ready and still trying to get my normal work done, so I did not want to leave without posting one last time
I wanted to say that WBC has been a great site, I really have enjoyed my time here with ALL of you girls (dispite the drama infested ones) I have met a lot of great girls on this site, one in particular Hiswifey (Sabrina C) We randomly posted on each others blog posts and one day we just clicked, we have many and I mean many similar backgrounds and we share the same personalites, Chicka I feel sometimes we have known each other for YEARS!!! and you crack me up!!! I can not wait to see you and Sergio at my wedding next week!!!!!! I will be coming back after the wedding to post some pictures and to share with you my wonderful day!! So I tryed to take pictures of the dress when I was getting them altered, i was able to capture a picture before the drama started at the bridal shop!
the dress is very flowy and we decided to have it more body hugging with a little flare on the bottom, and also rise it to about the knee. I know they look ulgy now but I will post the final look of the dress once it is complete xoxo D |

ARGH!!!!! one thing after another
ok so I can honestly say that I have been a great bride and friend to all my girls and it seems that no matter what good I do there is always one girl who ruins the moment!!!
So heres whats up. When it was time to do the bridal party only the maid of honor and one of the girls helped in the whole thing!!! the others just went as guests! ok you know what I let it slid..... then we went for the first dress fitting and when we finished the bridal shop (formally known as bridal image now goes under Impression bridal) was not going to honor the price quote they orginally gave us but I will go into this story after I post this one because that is a story on it's own! well they went from $35-$45 alterations to $120!!!! WTF so while I was trying to work things out with the girl who worked there one of my bridesmaid started to say things like "this was a waste of my weekend, I had better things to do then come here..." I swear not only was I hurt by what she was telling the other girls in my PRESENCE but the fact she was saying it to the whole room...... seriously how f***in rude. I ended up taking the dresses and telling the girls I would pay for alterations elsewhere. From the start of my wedding planning and picking the girls to be a part of my group, I have stated many many MANY times what my visions for them was, they ALL agreed!!!! I went with them looking for dresses and I told them not to buy anything expensive and that i didnt want them to spend so much. I told the girls that I wanted them to all be uniformed (example dress, shoes, hair) all alike because when it comes to pictures I wanted the same look.... NOW it seems that 2 months to the day they still havent gone shoe shopping and when I email them they always bring up the following (no time, no money, not all have the same style sence, ETC) SO you know what I did.... I asked them all for the shoe sizes and took it upon myself to get them all shoes!!! and I honestly could care less if they dont like them! I elimated their concerns, they didnt waste time or money!!! I have 5 girls and it's always 1 who is making it difficult!! so you know what screw it! I know i seem to come off as a B***H but honestly I got my own stress, and when I ask for help no one comes to my rescue! I thought the girls were supposed to be by your side to help out! arghhhh well this is 1 rant! xoxo D |

WE GOT IT!!!
So we went to city hall and we got our licence!!! it took litterally 20 mins and we got it. Nothing fancy as I thought, But after the wedding we can fill out a form and get the nice licence sent to us to frame or as a keepsake.

Ring boy/Flower girl
to have or not to have......
SO from the beginning of our wedding planning I have always told everyone that I was not having a ring boy and flower girl, Reason being was because I did not have any young kids that we could get, the kids on our families are over the age of 5 and it would look weird if I had older kids..... but now both sides are asking us who is our ring boy or flower girl and when we tell them we dont have any they tell us that we should have kids and that it would be nice to have them in our party..... so now theres 2 months to go and i'm at a loss......... I dunno what to do.....
should I have kids or stick to my plan? xoxo D |

I went to a skin doctor and I told her that I was having breakouts and that I was having a lot of dry skin and she recommended that I do a micodermabration, She told me it would cost me around $300 - $400!! a session I swear thats alot of money especially with the wedding costs and other living expences. So she told me about DERMANEW which is an at home kit that basically does the same thing but cheaper. I looked all over for this kit and I could not locate it anywhere, it was SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE. So I continued my search and I came accross a spa in Vancouver that sold it and it was cheaper then the other US sites I went on. I have been doing this for 1 week straight as per the instructions and then next week it will be 2 times a week and today my mom looked at me and said my face was glowing and it looked healthy, I told her I was using this product and she told me she sees a great difference :)
So for any bride out there who is dealing with breakouts and acne spots I HIGHLY recommand this product! Hopefully its not SOLD OUT still! xoxo D |

GOT MY VEIL!!!
Ok so I went to many bridal places in search of a prefect veil that would go great with my dress, Well I didnt have any luck and the ones I did like were "discontinued" I met with this women that makes custom veils and in the process I went to davids bridals in Mississauga and I happened to find a veil that I really liked! So I bought it on the spot, and thank god I did because it was the last one in stock too!!
Super excited to have another thing off my list...... now I have to search for the perfect bracelet and earrlings and necklace :) xoxo D |

Wedding shoes
THEY ARRIVED!!!!!!!
AHHHHHHHH super excited! I got my shoes and I am totally in love with them!!!!!!! I put them on my feet and I felt like I was walking in the most comfortable pair of heels I have even worn!! I swear I have about 30 pairs of heels of all shapes and colors and nothing compares to these. I can not wait to wear them on my wedding day!
I have also put my I DO sticker on the heel and it looks cute :) can't wait to take pictures in my shoes xoxo D |
