I am reposting this.
I purchased this wall from jennyfur. The pics are hers. After a 3 hour round trip to pick it up, It turns out that I don't have anyone who can transport it the day of and the venue won't let us bring it there the day before. I also purchased 2 frames to fit the holes but none of the frames pictured here were included. I paid $75 for the wall and the two frames. You need a truck to pick it up. There is a small piece where the paper is a little wrinkled. I would like to ask $75 for the wall and frames or $60 for just the wall. |

Training Progress
Slowly but surely
I started with my personal trainer 5 weeks ago. I took my measurements at the beginning and again today. I have lost 4 pounds and 5 inches all over my body. I have already started trying on some clothes that have been at the back of the closet for a while and they are fitting better. I am sure I'll be back in them soon enough. Woohoo!
My trainer, Alin Rista, works me like a maniac and I am already starting to notice a difference in my fitness level. I can handle more and more each time. I go to his cardio kickboxing class at the gym 2 times a week. I couldn't always do all of the exercises. Now I am keeping up with the teeny girls. He is always mixing it up. I can't get bored or maybe I'm too tired to be bored. LOL! I would recommend him to anyone. I am even thinking of keeping him after the wedding...maybe every two or three weeks instead of every week. We'll see. |

We found a dress for my MOH. It will be full length, not the tea length pictured here. Who knew that you could change the length and material of B2 dresses. Sooooo exciting. I think we will get a crystal belt to go with it to glam it up a little! woohoo!

I hired a personal trainer
I am a lover of the gym. I usually go 4-6 times a week. I'll try anything from yoga, to step, to kickboxing, or just old fashioned cardio..whatever tickles my fancy that day. I also follow the weightwatchers point system for my diet. I am just not seeing the results I would like to see.
I have look at nidhal's and tashasita's posts about the paleo diet but I just don't think I'll be able to do it. Kudos to you guys. That is one tough diet. So I signed up with a personal trainer. He's the same guy that teaches the cardio kick boxing that I do on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. He's a maniac and I think he'll change up my routine so that I start seeing results. I am also trying to stick to the following three rules: no drinking during the week no carbs after 6:30 no eating after 9 Hopefully I start seeing some results! The countdown is on! |

We received our custom gobo yesterday. I am so excited. It looks great! They got every tiny detail in out monogram.
We ordered it form goboman.com. It was reasonably priced and really fast. They don't arrange shipping to Canada so we had arrange for the shipping on our own UPS account. |

How early is too early to send out your invitations?
We are getting married at the end of January 2011. I would like to send the invitations out in early October and ask for the replies by mid-late November. We are inviting a lot of family from all over the country so if they are coming, they should know by then. I worry that if we leave it later people will forget/lose our invitation with the Christmas rush.
Does that sound crazy? My FMIL thinks it's too early. She doesn't want the invites for her guests to go out until the beginning of December and doesn't want the replies until the end of the month. She thinks people will forget. Most of her guests are Jewish so we don't have to worry about the rush of Christmas but we will need to create two different RSVP cards if she wants a separate reply date for her guests. This is not that big of a deal because we are designing our own invites and taking them to the printer ourselves. Then I started thinking...what about all of our guests that may know her guests? Do we have to hold back their invitations just in case they might mention they have already received our invitation? |

My Mom's Dress
We have found a winner!!!
We have definitely had a hard time finding the right dress from my mom. We thought we hit the jackpot a couple of weeks ago (see pic #3, designer Aterlier Alyce, Style 12273). The only problem was that there was no jacket and a jacket is a requirement for my mom. The boutique said we could order extra material to make a jacket. A few days later we received a call that the dress was discontinued. They could get the dress but could not get the extra materials for the jacket. EEEEK!
So the search continued. Last Thursday we hit the jackpot. The designer is Rina Di Montella and the Style 3592. So excited that my mom found a dress she loves and makes her look smokin hot!!! These pics don't even do the dress justice. It's even better in person! An even bigger bonus...the shoes and jewelry mom wore to my sister's wedding will match this dress perfectly We found her dress at Diva Boutique on St Clair Ave W in Toronto . They have had the best selection for mother of the bride dresses of all of the 6 stores we went to. They were very attentive and really worked with us to find the right dress. |
