Green We got engaged!!!!!!
   
We got engaged!!!!!!
Yippiiii...

Ladies (and gents if there is anyone...fully doubt it)
on the evening of out 2 year anniversary my man, my wonderful one asked me to be HIS!!!

He took me to thi huuuge mansion house that was completely empty! He walks me up to this room that he has decorated with candles everywhere...flowers and pearls and ribbons!!! Im an artist so he had sat p a canvas for us to paint on together. Then after that we enjoyed the view (overlooking the city!!!) mmmmmhm;) so eqsquisitt!!
Then he had me close my eyes and went and got something. I open my eyes and infront of me is a super cool tea set from Teavana. with a teapot in the middle.
He tells me to opn it up and there is was dingling a BEAUTIFUL diamond ring marquise shaped! And he had this piece of fabric infront of the canvas that said WILL YOU MARRY ME?
Then he kneeled down and told me he loved me (FIRST TIME EVER!!!) and proposed.

I LAUGHED and cried;) haha it was the most beautiful hour in my whole entire life!! And he totally - completely hidd it from me!! GOOD JOB Jeffrey;)

Then he takes my hand and leads me out of the room and now there is candles lit in the whole house!!! and our friend are playing cello and guitar and singing lovesongs for us. the candles goes all the way out to the garage roof wich is flat. Out there was a bonfire and blankets for us. I could not stop laughing I was so happy!!!

Isn`t that awesome?;)thihi.....IM HIS PRINCESS!!!

In this hottness of a car??? OH YEAH!;) Isn`t it cool?
I want it to be with me my whole day....take me to the hairsaloon, the church, for pictures...back to the party and then finally to the location of our wedding night. MHM!!! Im so imagining it=)

Im thinking a Buick.....convertible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A moms touch on the wedding plans
I LOVE my mom.
She is the most gorgeous, couragous woman I`ve ever met. She loves like she has never been hurt. She carries hope like no one else.
She is amazing.
I come from Norway and has only been in California for 2,5 years. WHere I fell in love with my Jeffrey. And now I`m planning my wedding here - thousands of miles away fro my mom.
But guess what.... my mom has the coolest job in the world. She owns wedding dress stores in Norway! So I have got to swim in dresses, tiaras, brides and all that has to do with weddings for years. I have probably tried on more wedding dresses then you have ever seen.
Crazy, I know. And SOOOO fun.

We e-mail, skype and pray together about different subjects. Yet still, I feel far away from her and a piece in my heart is sad.
She is very supportive thou. Witch makes it easier. I hope she can fly over soon and just talk wedding with me. Luckily my parents will for sure fly in two weeks before the wedding. Praise Jesus.

Are you planning your own wedding? Are you including your mom? She might come with aged ideas and such...but remember that it can be a huge blessing and way of showing your love to her by including her in your wedding plans. YOU will be the one making the final decissions in the end, just let her take part=)

Thanks guys for reading my stuff. Im just a woman in high heels (JUST today...hurting me haha), in California who`s about to get married. boy is there many thoughts prosesses going on these days!!!!!!!!!!

color theme...
After a month or so of diving into the world of planning a wedding I think....
Yeah think, =), I have landed on a color theme.
Im thinking natural and organic ivories, golds and a fresh sage/thyme green.
All for the romantic, intimate beauiful setting of our weddingday. Church ceremony, evening reception outside under the stars. Loads of greens, flowers, and trees. Bunches of string lights, paper lanterns, candles (although this is a state full of fires in the season im havin my wedding...so careful on that!!), BEAUTY!!!
My dress is hopefully an ivory Pronovias dress that I have picked out amongst hundreds of thousands of dresses. My man and his men will be wearing a sturdy black tux with the vest under. Wich I think is absolutely hot.
Havent had luck on shoes yet.
Help me, Jesus.
