Theme: Pretty in pink - Formal indian attire
I'm going to have an intimate bridal shower at my cousin sister's house.
The theme is going to be "Pretty in pink" - Indian formal attire. I'm going to wear an elegant dusty pink churidar with light gold/silver embroidery, lots n lots of sparkly pink bangles on both arms & a princess tiara!!! :D It's going to be heaps of fun because we'll make lots of indian/western finger food, have mehendi cupcakes!!!, pink drinks on ice, have little pink organza favour pouches (i bought them 3 days ago) filled with silver hershey's kisses or gold chocolate hearts, watch a bollywood movie and most of all will get time to chillax with my female cousins before i get engagmed/legally married. This is going to happen in NZ, two and a half months before my religious marriage in Australia. |

4 Pillar Wedding Mandap
I've chosen to have a 4 pillar antique Devdas mandap (3m by 3m). The white pillars have been intracately carved and have been painted with gold highlights to magnify the intracacy of the pillar and whole mandap design. I think the architecture of this mandap is stunning! I feel in love with it when i first laid my eyes on it!
I'm going to have a 3 panel royal white swag backdrop with shiny silver and light gold netting that will stretch to 9 meters behind the backdrop. additional deco around the mandap will include two tall diya stands with tea light candles inside the stands & red carpet in the mandap area.
