ENJOY everything!!
Whatever you do, enjoy ever stinkin' moment!!! After almost 4 months, I realize how much I loved resarching and planning my wedding. Married life is WONDERFUL!!! But there is something exciting about planning YOUR day. Even the chaos and stress adds excitment. The whole time I thought, "All I want is this to be done." Now I'm sad that I didn't take more time to soak in everything and enjoy it all. Take more pictures!!! Say thank you more! SLOW Down!!!! It's fun. You just may not know it yet.
To you all who are planning. I'm jealous and happy for you. If I could have a wedding every 5 years (to the same man!), it would be wonderful!!!! But it happens once. I don't regret anything I did, I just regret not enjoying more and documenting more.
To you all who are VERY close to your wedding day. Don't stress. HAVE FUN!!!! If something goes wrong, don't let it ruin your day. It will just make it more memorable.

GET LOTS OF PICTURES!!!! i cannot stress that enough.

P.S. I'm on here looking for a hair do for my brother's wedding. But is it pitiful that I miss checking out the daily new blogs?????

I'm here!!!
Actually I'm about to leave the British Virgin Islands, Virgin Gorda. I cannot wait to get the pictures developed. The wedding was wonderful. All seems like a dream. I recieved MANY compiments on everything, but can't take much credit. I dreamed up everything but did not do any of the work!

We are leaving the island at 12:30 and am somewhat sad and somewhat happy. I can't wait to see the kids and our friends and family. This place has been absolutely wonderful. No responsibilities or obligations. i'm going to miss it. ;)

I'm sure I'll post more later. Hopefully when I get pictures to share. I can't wait to see the photos from the wedding. :)

Hope all planning is going well for everyone else!!!

yea! I like it! I was worried it would be too frou frou but my hairstylist is the best! Instead of standing the tiara straight up (the way you would traditionally wear it) she laid it flat like a headband. Perfect! Just what I wanted. it's still all a bit over the top, but hey, when else am I going to get away with wearing something so outrageous and over the top???

Grr!!
Flower Girl dress frustration!!!!!
I'm (technically) 4 days away from the wedding. 2 of my 3 fflower girl families were out of town till yesterday. The flower girl dresses are HOT PINK, not soft pink, and they are not done. THEN! i can't seem to get a hold of anyone or set up a good time to meet with all 3 families to try on the dresses. My schedule is crazy and full that I can't meet just whenever! I'm so frustrated!!!!!! One of the mom's is already acting put out with me about this. Gee whiz! Sorry I've asked your daughters to be in my wedding and you said yes. Just venting. The stress is hitting me a little today.

Yesterday was great!!! I didn't get lost at all driving all over the place. I didn't even have my Garmin!!! I made it on time EVERYWHERE and got EVERYTHING done that was on my list!

Not so sure I'm going to have as quite a successful day today.

I'm leaving for my hair trial in a second. We'll see how that goes and I'll try to post it tomorrow. :)

The Wedding Wuh-Ohs continue
It dawned on me the other day. I have learned mad skillz at wedding planning and organizing. Okay, not true mad skillz, but I've gotten really good at trying to keep up with all this madness.

But now that I've gotten in the swing of things...it's over...or almost over. I won't have a true reason to put all the lessons I've learned towards. But hopefully! all this organization and communication and planning I've learned, will carry into my job and everyday life!!!

Lucky some of you who are naturally skilled at organizing and time management. The rest of us have to WORK at it.

I just checked the predicted weather for the city and it looks good. But this is Oklahoma where the saying is: If you don't like the weather, wait a minute and it will change. OR If you wear a parka and shorts at the same time, you might live in Oklahoma.

Has it hit you yet???
I was thinking yesterday, how it hasn't seem to hit me yet that I'm getting married next Saturday. That worried me. Why am I not about to jump out of my skin excited that I have finally found the one and am about to start my forever life with him???!!

Then I wondered if maybe this was the norm. Do all brides not really get that tingly, girly, googly feeling till...the day of? The day before?

Don't get me wrong...I'm madly in love with him and can't wait to get married, but it doesn't seem...real...if you will.

I did get a little butterflies in my stomach when we all went to the church to talk to the caterer, but otherwise...nothing. When I think about the day...nothing. I always go straight to the thought that it's going to be over and our normal life will start.

Maybe that's it. Reality has set in. We are getting married. The wedding will only be here for one day. Then...we have jobs, a house to attend to, and 3 three children to raise. If that's what it is...what a relief!!
