DIY Wedding - Feather pens! - PRNCSS173's Black Wedding by Color Blog

For one of our guest books (we get one with our photo booth) we are doing a signature frame. I love that you can then place it on the wall to actually look at and enjoy after the wedding. However, I have been to a couple where people take the pens and then you have four different colors ink and I don't like the look. So, the people at our rehearsal will sign in lime green and then everyone else will be in black and I thought if I attached the pens to these large AMAZING feathers it would keep them from taking them :)

I just attached the feathers to the pens by wrapping some extra black satin strips around it...gluing and the top and bottom and then running it over the top of a flame to keep from freying. I added some pretty crystals with my awesome tool and there you go! They are super cute in person and I love how they look in my one dollar purchases from Micheal's that I added some more crystals to of course!

Thanks ladies! I love feathers, so they are lots of fun :) Though if you do them you will have to chop down the stocks on the feathers because they are super thick, but it isn't that hard.

Oh and Sonia I am BEYOND excited! I have never been so excited...I am terrified my heart is going to explode with excitement for the day gets here! I LOVE the photo booth I am stoked!
