Wedding Video
Our surprise first dance!!! It was legendary!

Well, ladies I have a confession...I am a pasty white girl...I fully embrace it...I don't just mean on the outside I mean down to my no rhythm core! My best move is the shopping cart. Hubby is even less coordinated than me and he feels awkward having all eyes on him, so instead of doing our middle school rock back and forth for out first dance I thought this would be a good idea to not feel awkward and have fun at the same time. Our guest loved it, we had so much fun and it was great bonding time around the wedding. If you are planning on doing one of these just know that the beautiful ball gown really gets in the way, but I wouldn't have traded it for anything! Hope you like it! Oh by the way...adorable rocking ends at about 1:15 for those who want to skip forward to the good stuff :)

Thanks ladies!  You are all so sweet :)  We got some great pics out of it, some are hysterical!  We really did have an awesome time.  I think regardless of whether you are doing a funny first dance or a serious one practicing together before is such great bonding time that takes you away from the stresses and just allows you to have fun.

You girls are so sweet!  Dancing in the dress was certainly rough!  

Laurie:  My lovely hubby used some music program online and made up the cd.  Your dj can do one too, which would have been smarter since Brandon didn't do the cd until the week of the wedding...more practice time with the actual cd would have been nice. :)

Totally cute Shayla, totally cool... I'm digging this!! We did a few dance mixes with an online dj program too. And I very much nearly considered doing the same as you by transfering from the swoon to the bop - but then we found a slow song that meant so much to both of us that we wanted to do the whole thing.. ah well.

But yeah - TOTAL SUCCESS!! You obviously rocked the night!

Hannah I totally think that the swooning part it important.  I was so glad that we at least had a moment there where we could just talk to each other for a moment.  Discuss the motorcycle I just gave him....how awesome are wedding was going...how freaking shocked people were going to be in 15 seconds.  It was so much fun and I really enjoyed that time to just kind of zone out everything else around us.  What song did you pick again for your first dance?

Nicole- Thank you!  We loved our venue...it was so beautiful, provided us with the snow we wanted and had the wonderfully cozy fireplace.  We loved it!
