This is purplelove's Purple Wedding!

I was debating if i want to wear my hair half up for the ceremony, and all up for the reception. Hmmmm. I have a friend making me a custome hair peice, no vail.

I know its a terrible photo, but you get the idea. My mom has this program that is fantastic for invites and such. These are printed on silver paper, the photo is black and white, and the purple matches our shade of eggplant. They are just a bit smaller than a postcard and are fridge magnets. Since we have so many traveling from out of town, we thought we would give everyone a heads up.

I changed my idea on the centerpeices....the room is sooo tall that I decided to go with something with height and drama. I decided to do these and will also have small viotile holders with submersible lights and purple water beads, to keep things soft and romantic. I also think I will paint the trees to be silver. There are clear jewels hanging by clear string, and photos will be black and white engagement photos hung by ribbons.

Better than the other idea? Also, would it look ok if I did half the tables with this centerpeice and the other half with a different talk design?? (26 tables in total)

I'm soooo excited!! I found MY dress! I wanted something simple but elegant, that I could wear an eggplant sash with. I still have to find somewhere to get the sash, but I did try this dress with a colored blingy sash and it was JUST what I was looking for!! Soooo :)

Im so excited. I just confirmed my wedding location. Thank goodness I called when I did because 3 other ppl called just after me with the same date. The Confederation Centre is just perfect.It is our town Library/Museam and Theatre. Ceremony will be in the back of the building in the Ampitheatre, which is directly beside the gorgeous Province House. When the Ceremony is done, we have every backdrop we would want for photos...the water down at Peakes and Victoria Row, parks, gardens etc. The Reception will be inside in one of the main grand rooms. Im soooo excited :)

Im looking for table linens such as overlays or runners. I am ordering napkins from CVLinens.com. I want to avoid the sashes and try to get my tables to look put together. We have about 20 tables, but id like to save a little money. If anyone has eggplant, blk, or silver linens to sell, please let me know.

I found this oh so personalized centerpeice that is super easy to do.
I figure I can make then for about $15-20 each. We didnt want flowers, but wanted to keep it simple and different. Plus you can really make it your own with small touches, like color candles, different pictures at each table etc. The pictures we will use will be black and white engagement photos :)

I'm engaged to the true love of my life. It was a simple proposal with the perfect touch of what we are to eachother. It was a quiet Sunday evening, I was awaiting our gorgeous baby girl to be born. We got engaged a week before P was born. My FH got me out of bed and blindfolded me, walked me down the hall to a candlelit living room. Our song was playing in the background and pictures of us in a circle around us. He got down on one knee and said the sweetest, most heartfelt things about us and our future and asked me to marry him. I said no! lol. I was in so much shock that I asked him three times if he was sure. I warned him that it was dangerous to propose to a very pregnant girl. haha. It was the happiest moment of my life up to that point. I knew from the first few weeks of us meeting that we would have a future, a family, and love for a lifetime. My vision came true in that moment :)
