Hey Ladies:
I have been MIA for a while but decided to take some time and share our creative Boarding Passes designed by myself and Ebony Sparkes of Sparkling Events & Design. The 3rd boarding pass is the RSVP card and is perforated so guests can just rip it off and mail it back like a postcard! Ebony is my sister as many of you know and I have been blessed to have her create all of our stationary products including our Save the Date Luggage Tags that I wrote about a couple of months ago and received rave reviews! Im really excited about our invitations and I cant wait to find out what our guests think! I also loves that beside the barcode instead of numbers, it say MISTY LOVES SOLOMON! How cute is that!! Bridal Shower Sneak Preview
I finally got a little sneak peek of my bridal shower pics and can't wait to get all the pics from the photographer to post so you ladies can see.
My MOH, BM's, and Mommy threw me the best shower a girl could ask for. The had a pink/black damask theme with a cocktail hour feel. Sparkling Events & Design turned it out! I felt like I was walking into someone's wedding reception! My sister is truly a genius and gifted at what she does and I am so blessed to say she is MY sister. She captured my vision and made it better than I could ever imagine. I also had the honor of having Chiantia Crews do a photo shoot of the event and have been featured as part of her blog. Bridesmaid/MOH Dresses Ordered!!!
I am so excited that my BM & MOH dresses have finally been ordered with a delivery date no later than July 6th, which will leave 1 month for alterations. I think that is plenty of time (it better be, lol).
We decided on Alfred Sung dresses made by the Dessy group. My sister, who is the MOH will wear the strapless one and my BFF for 25 years will be wearing the halter top one. I love the way they both have the gathered look across the neckline. The color will be Niagara. The other great part about these dresses are that we ordered them from Netbride, thanks to recommendations from Kandi08, and the price was only 105.00 plus shipping which in my opinion is a great price for a dress that you can also wear again. The fnal picture is their shoes, which will be one of the gifts that I will be giving them for being a part of our special day. The shoes will be the color in the picture..PINK!!! So I will be borrowing these from my sister after the wedding :) I also love the fact that the heel of their shoes are exactly the same as the heel on mine!!! |

Bridal Shower!!!
One Month Away...so excited :)
I know I've been gone for a minute, but I have been a very busy worker bee working on my wedding and have many updates, but today I'll dedicate this blog entry to my shower.
I am so excited that my shower is 30 days away and that all of my family and friends will be here to help me celebrate, esp Kandi08 (WBC). My sister, CEO of Sparkling Events and Design, has been working diligently to pull this shower of with nothing less than fabulosity!! It's really going to have a modern chic theme with Damask in Black and White and accents of our wedding colors, Fuchsia and Teal!! Finally ordered my shoes :)
So I finally decided on shoes today and I am so excited since this will be another DIY project once they arrive and I can't wait to share with you ladies what I am going to do with these shoes! So take a look now at the before pictures bc after I am done with them, they will be BEYOND FIERCE!!!
I am also pumped because they match my engagement ring so well. My future hubby got me a blue-green diamond and these 2 together are going to rock in pictures. Sorry if I sound over confident, I am just overjoyed that things are falling in place! |
