One year Engagement Anniversary
So today is the day that my love asked me to be his wife! I can not believe that it has been a year already, it went so fast. So today, while he was at work (I am off for the summer since i work at an elementary school) I decided to go to his job to have lunch with him. I bought him 2 blue roses, a little balloon, a card, and a pack of reese's peanut butter cups, and some lunch. He was soo surprised! We never talked about doing anything for our anniversary, but I am a big ball of emotions! So of course i had to do something.

Wedding Cake

So I can not remember who posted the cake site, and I do apologize because I totally want to give her credit (I will find her and update my post with her name)
Anywho, I went to the site she recommended and totally fell in love with this cake! The boo liked it too and the funny thing is that I saw that cake topper at the Hobby Lobby and knew i wanted it but i didn't know how it was going to go with my cake. But when I saw this cake, i knew it was meant to be!! Sad part is that I didn't get the topper last week when Hobby Lobby had their bridal sale! Guess i gotta catch that handy dandy 40% coupon! The ribbon for mine will be the pool blue color and i think i want either white tiger lilies or callas. prolly the tiger lilies because they are my favorite flower and they are larger Update: So the WBC person I got the website from was lowie77 (she has a purple wedding) Thanks Lowie!!! |

DIY Wedding
All my projects so far!
So I totally decided that this is something that I should definitely look into making a career of. I absolutely love this stuff!! Anywho, I wanted to wait until i had made some progress on my projects before i posted them for you all. Please let me know what you think!!
pic1: this is my card box. I am not finished yet tho, still have to make the slit and decorate the bottom half. I was getting so anxious as i was finishing each of the pieces so i couldn't wait til tomorrow when i cut the slit for the cards. I also want to write "cards" on here somewhere. definitely still a work in progress! Pic 2 and Pic 5: this is my boutineire (prolly spelled that wrong! lol!) Pic 5 is actually the finished product with the ribbon and all. I love Hobby Lobby! Oh, BTW i had to make like 14 of these because the groomsmen, fathers, and ushers will all wear one of these. The boo and I will be the only people with "real" flowers! Hope the darn florist can make hubbys look as good as the ones i made!! Pic 3: These are the corsages for the mothers and grandmothers. I made 6 of these. They are not finished because i still have to add the ribbon and the little wrislet thing to the back of it. believe it or not, these lil things take forever! and i had to take a break in between because i was getting a cramp in my hand! Pic 4: This is the last project that i completed today! I am so excited about it because it is my best project yet! I made my monogram on the computer and thought it would go perfect on my unity candle. Funny thing is that I still have no stand to put them on!!!! So yea, please guys, tell me what you think! I got a lot of my inspiration from some of you on WBC and I would love to get your feedback! Thank so soo much!! |

Bridesmaids
My Three best friends, my sister (MOH) and my best cousin will be standing there with me as I marry my True love best friend!
So I finally decided that these were the dresses that they would wear. they are in the DB pool color. The girls all wanted T-length or shorter and did not even think twice about having a long dress. But after I came across these with my sister and mom, I fell in love with them. To tie in the black and Cream, the bridesmaids will have a black sash that will be hang in back over the train, and my sister, the MOH will have a cream sash. |

After searching and searching...I came across this shoe and I had to have it! i absolute adore these. Zappos is the best site ever by the way. I also lucked up and found ceremony accessories to match my shoes perfectly, bow and all!

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
I absolutely looove my ring! Christopher is talking about he wants to upgrade it in a few years and I said that was unnecessary because I love it just the way it is! I will have two bands (one on each side) instead of just the one shown in the photo.
For his ring...he never wears jewelry so he felt like his ring had to not be simple at all!! His had to bling just like mine! he is such a mess! |
