Wedding Photography
why soooo expensive
I understand photography is an art form and the people doing it spend a lot of time retouching everything, but what do people do with the hundreds and hundreds of photos. Don't get me wrong I love looking at people's wedding photos and they are always so beautiful, but it's not for me. I just want someone to take photos of my ceremony and a few at the park near the chapel. So two hours at the most. I would have someone in my family do it, but I don't want them worrying about it and they aren't the best of photographers. At the most i want to spend $500, not $1,000 which is the cheapest I have been finding.

I've seen some people on here with these beverage dispensers, I love them!! I found this one on this website http://www.freshfinds.com/your-home_problem-solvers/beverage-dispenser-spigot/ It isn't fancy like the other ones, but it will be perfect for my wedding because it is a laid back summer wedding. I also love the price of 12.95 and they hold 8 quarts.

Looks like the ceremony location has changed to local
vegas is a no go
So the wedding was going to be in Las Vegas, but my FH has informed me that his dad had a conversation with him about our location. His dad really wants us to have the wedding locally because it could be the grandparents last family event. Before we had decided on Las Vegas we had looked into a chapel that is down the road that is sort of like vegas style but with a little more class, so looks like we will be going there.
I think I am fine with it, I mean it would have been awesome to have the unique wedding in vegas, but it will still be nice to have one with all the family involved. Now back to square one....good thing I didn't put any deposits down for vegas, but I was very close to doing it. What do I need to look into now Reception Venue Caterer Cake Flowers Photographer DJ I'm sure there is lots more, wow this is why I wanted to do it in vegas, this list did not exist before. |

looking for a brooch....I think
I don't like the flower that is on my dress. It looks very cheap and fake. It doesn't look as bad in the picture, but trust me it is tacky. I think I want some kind of brooch with Swarovski crystals, and pearls. I've looked on Ebay and there are a couple things I like but I don't know if it will still look right. What do you think? I have pictures to the left, the first one is the flower on the dress, the 2nd one is the jewelry and hair piece I will wear.

I love, love this dress!!! I didn't get a good picture of me in it. I am also going to take that fake flower off and i want to find a nice brooch to take its place.

We went and picked out our rings, I decided to get a diamond enhancer band. My fiance wanted two rings. He wanted a nice white gold ring to wear when we dress up. And then he wanted a titanium ring that he could wear all the time, since he works a lot with his hands.

Where the ceremony will take place
Las Vegas, NV
It took me a while to decide if Vegas is really what I wanted to do. I was torn between having the at home wedding with all the family and friends involved with the simple at home reception, or having the fun Vegas Wedding with some family and a few friends.
I found the Chapel in the Clouds web site and absolutely fell in love with everything, so I decided then I really want to get married in Las Vegas, but then the next dilemma is the date. To make a very long story short. Our date will be August 14,2010!! Now all I have to do is book everything up. |
