Wedding Photography

So it's been over a month sense we had our engagement photos taken and we still haven't recieved them. Now that the wedding is over for three weeks, we still haven't gotten them or our wedding photos. I know these things take time but jeeze! My mother in law promised she would pay for them but she can't now and she won't let anyone else pay for them either. She seems to think the photographer will just hand them over and expect payment later. When ever I try to text, call, or talk to him on Facebook he won't return my messages or call. I'm so frustrated and I don't know what to do anymore. Any help?

Marriage Licence
Get it Today
So with only three more days till the wedding, i finally got my marriage licence. It wasnt too bad but kind of pricey. Thankfully there wasnt a waiting period or a blood test. The best thing about the whole processes was when the lady asked us if we were related. Of course we said no but it still made me laugh a little bit.
My bridal shower was on sunday night, it was fun. We got a lot of things we needed but i told FH that we werent going to use any of them until we moved out. He agreed but i couldnt help but open a few of them and set them out for looks. Now all i have to do is a get a job, and move out. I'm really excited about this whole thing. Everyone keeps asking me if im nervous and i always tell them, "no, what's to be nervous about? i already know its going to go perfect and i already decided i was going to spend the rest of my life with him so that's not anything new" It was fun. The only thing left on the to do list is pay for the tuxes, church, nails, and pick up my dress from the cleaners on friday. The rehearsal and dinner are on friday and tomorrow we get to set everything up. I hope we get internet soon so i'm not always having to go to the library. I really miss you girls and i'll see you all after the wedding. CHOW!! |

Wedding Photography
Engagement Photos
Engagement photos are done. we took them yesterday at 9 am. We went to a very beautiful cemetery and there was a pond, several benches (one of which even says love-friendship), and marble stones. the photographer took over 300 photos and they are very beautiful. we'll be picking out the ones we want in about a week. I'll definitely post them when they come in.

Giving Back
Blood Donation
This has absoultly nothing to do with wedding planning but i just wanted to share it anyway.
I have this love for doing charitable things and today was my third time donating since i became 16. so that's averaging about once a year, even though i've tried 3 other times. I think its great that such a small thing like giving away your blood could save the precious lives of 3 people. Just think a few mins could save THREE lives. It stuns me. what makes me upset though is the people that won't donate because it's a "waste of time" or "i dont have time for it" or any other poor reason. i could understand if youre dealthy afraid of needles, or if you cant. it's not just donating blood that i love, its donating my time too. i enjoy getting involved with things at church, doing Relay for Life, and i plan on giving away my dress to someone who cant get one. I think when people do nice things, good things happen. So please take time to donate time, money, blood, or anything else you can offer. You could make someone's wish come true or save someones life. |

The Proposal
Christmas Time
My proposal was a classic romantic one. My FH came for a visit a week before Christmas. Everything was going great and it was a few days before Christmas Eve when he proposed. The whole family was at the house and im pretty sure everyone knew before i did what was going to happen. It was super hot so the FH and i went outside to cool off.
It was dark and we were slow dancing without music while it snowed. I was looking into his eyes and made the comment that now would be the perfect time to propose. I didnt know he was going to take me serious until he suddenly dropped to one knee, said ow, and pulled out a ring. He couldnt even get the words out just squeaked something along the lines of "will you". naturally i said yes and ran inside blubbering like an idiot. Everyone thought something bad had happened until i showed them my ring. They were very happy. |
