I just got an amazing deal on my wedding dress and evening gowns from Honeymoon Bridal Gallery Inc. in Richmond Hill, ON. They are a wedding photography studio/boutique. The dresses were used in indoor bridal photo shoots, but have never been worn outside so they are practically new. I got the wedding dress in picture #1 for $300 (swarovski crystal bodice), and the evening gown for $150. They have tons of wedding gowns that are only a few hundred dollars each, and dresses starting at $30. Of course these are off the rack dresses and not custom made, but you can get the dresses altered.

I decided to buy some birthday gifts for myself.

I have developed a little crush on antique jewelery. I own an Edwardian old mine cut diamond flower ring, a modern rose cut band...and now an old european cut band (Ebay)!

While searching the internet for a wedding dress vendor I came across The Bride's Project. New and used wedding dresses and accessories are donated to the organization, and they sell it at a wholesale/discount price. All the profits from the sale are given to a Cancer Charity.

My fiance and I both have family members that suffer from cancer. His mother recently had radiation therapy for early stage breast cancer, and my mother had a hysterectomy to prevent ovarian cancer. My fiance's aunt is currently fighting cancer and going through chemotherapy, and my uncle died last year from a long struggle with lung cancer.

It would be really meaningful for me to find a dress from The Bride's Project. The only problem is finding a dress that fits. I am very tiny, and usually wear size 0-2 (xs). Just finding regular (adult) clothes is a big pain.

I am having a travel themed wedding, but it is not a destination wedding. I am keeping the wedding in Toronto so that it is easy for everyone to join us.

To make the theme work with the wedding, I have been searching for things to tie the travel theme together.

These chrome airplane and cruise ship luggage tags are my top pick for wedding favours at my wedding.

I have been searching online and they are approximately ~$4.00 each.

Does anyone know if I can get them for cheaper? Or a wedding favour wholesaler in Toronto?

My fiance and I love to travel together. As I mentioned in the previous post, he proposed with a scrapbook of all our travels together. Before we started dating, he didn't go anywhere. So travel is something special for us. And naturally the theme of our wedding. This theme also allows me to incorporate one of my fiance's favourite things, airplanes.

I found these really cool wedding invitations on Etsy that are invitations designed to look like airplane boarding passes!

I also found some passport style invitations, but the boarding pass goes with airplanes so much better.

Although they are great invitations, they cost a fair amount of money ($6 - $10) per set of invitaiton.

The only problem now is I want to find a printer that will do some custom cutting and peforating.

My fiancee and I met in the first year of undergraduate studies at Queen's University. We were friends for many years and didn't get together until after we graduated.

We decided to visit our old stomping grounds in Kingston over the Victoria long weekend. We walked around our old campus, then my fiancee and I took a break on one of the benches.

He pulled out a scrapbook he created from all our travels together. He saved the ticket stubs, maps, and brochures from all the different places. At the end of the scrapbook was a poem asking me to be his life long travel companion ^_^

We purchased and designed the engagement ring together. It is based on the Birks north east south west solitaire.
