DIY Wedding
Card box Question
This are the boxes that I've picked out thus far (ignore the pile of laungry for dry cleaning behind it!). I'm thinking that I want to add a bigger box on the bottom for height? And it's hard to tell from the picture but the middle box is smaller than the bottom. Maybe I should find a smaller box for more contrast?
What do you ladies think? TIA |

Center piece ideas
So, these are the "looks" I'm going for.
It is simple and inexpensive. I was talking to the florist at the Tom Thumb around the corner from my house and she said they could put this together for me for $25 an hour and whatever the cost of flowers is. I want tulips and they charge $6 a bunch with about ten buds in a bunch! I would bring in the vases (that I'm renting) and the black river rocks (Dollar Tree for $1/bag). I thought it would be better for me and less stressful to have them put these together then for me to be running around on my wedding day. I'm already going to busy enough! The last photo is of tulips with rose petals on the table. Does this look funny with the combo of tulips and rose petals? Other thoughts? |

Ok, so this is still a work in progress. I was originally thinking of having the older flower girl carry this instead of a flower basket so I made the loop kinda small. But I've been thinking about it and think that I want to make several of these at different lengths to put on the garden chairs. Probably every other row, so that I won't have to make too many.
Thoughts? Do you ladies think that it would look silly if the flower girls carried these and I have them as decoration? TIA! |
