They are the best!

So we've changed our plans a little.... We will now be going to Vegas for our vow renewal and honey moon! I will be asking my sister and her soon to be husband to come along with us.
We are going to renew on a helicopter and stay at the Bellagio! I am so excited I've never been to Vegas, on a helicopter can't wait to go. Of course I still have a few things to plan on my own like my gown, hair, make-up, honey moon attire ( can't forget that! ) and our rental car. We are also going to get tattoos on our ring fingers with each other's names as our wedding bands.

Today I bought a ring pillow at the dollar tree and the brown fabric to cover it along with the tiffany blue ribbon, Also got the sticks for the guest's instead of rice or bells for our send off. I am going to paint the sticks brown and attach the tiffany blue ribbon to them, I bought 40 sticks for like $6 at the craft store and the paint was only $.40 so these are a great way for the guest to send us off and great little favors the younger girls will love them. My 6 year old is so excited about them and they aren't even made yet.
As soon as I finish them I'll post the pictures. Hope they turn out great!

We will be doing a chinese food station due to the fact he loves this food! We will also be doing some type of station more for the diabetic family members. Also we will be doing our candy bar in blue,brown and a hint of green candies. I love the candy bar idea!

Haven't really thought about the types of food I will have in the stations just what stations they will be. Any ideas would be great.

I'm unsure if we will hold it outside in a back yard under the tent or in one of these halls. Our date will most likely be in April on or around the 16 to mark our tenth year together but with it being April not sure how well the tent will hold up in the rain. has anyone had an outside reception under a tent in the rain? Will my guests get wet or will they be fine?

Since our colors are blue and chocolate I am sticking with candies in that color with a hint of green here and there.

My 6 year old will be my flower girl along with my 5 year old sister and the grooms 5 year old sister. I am thinking either my little girl will throw the petals and the other two have these wands I like or all three will have wands and the petals will be places down by the usher or something. They will be in white dresses with a blue sash and flats for the shoes.

My ring boys will be My 5 year old son and the grooms 7 year old brother more less he is there to help get my son to the front! And my newest little guy who is now 5 months will walk me down the aisle or mommy will walk him!

Since we have so many younger guests coming to the wedding I was also thinking of adding a few songs to the list for kids. Any ideas? I know how boring weddings can be for the younger ones and I'd like to keep them from to many melt downs. Thanks for the help!

I have a lot of wedding guests that will be children ages newborn- teen. I was thinking of doing tables in a area for the younger kids with color books and such. Has anyone done this before or is this a bad idea? I'm not sure if it will keep them busy or get them into trouble being at a table with no adults. Please let me know what you think.Thanks!

I love all the cakes I have no idea what one I'm going to end up going with. The grooms cake is set in stone it will look like an x-box, this will be a surprise for my groom and I'm sure everyone will love it!

these are just a few of my ideas

My husband and I have been together for 7 years now! We had the court house wedding and it's about time we had the real thing dress and all!
We don't have a set in stone date yet he will deploy again this fall and when he returns we will renew our vows so at the moment sometime next fall is all we have set until he deploys then we can set a date for sure.
I'm so excited to finally get the wedding I've always dreamed of! I have so many ideas for what I want. Can't wait to get started!
