Wedding Dress
This is the dream dress.

Needless to say it is way, way, way out of my budget. In fact it costs my entire budget. :(
So I am planning to have it custom made.
I have looked up many online sites. Of course the ones in China have the best prices. $250 - $300.
The only problem is that it is kind of scary buying a dress that you don't get to see before you give away your money from another country where you can't really report them to the BBB and expect results.
Does anyone have any suggestions or personal experience with any custom online companies?

I've seen a few brides mention that they've bought dresses on www.bestbridalprices.com and they were pleased with their purchase, but I've never bought anything from them myself. However, I do plan to get my flowergirl dress from them because they have it for $50 less than the bridal shops, but haven't gotten around to getting it as yet. I have been on the site a few times and their prices are pretty affordable comapared to the designers.

I looked over the site and unfortunately they don't carry Jim Hjelm at all. They do have great prices though. I will definitely use them for the bridesmaids dresses I need.

I am in the same predicament I googles for months before I found the perfect site. www.fairytalevisions.com    
Now on this site you have to e-mail the dress designer and name of the dress then they send you the price. I did it and the sophia tolli gown was almost half the price that the other sites were offering.  I already ordered one dress off ebay, it was ok but not exactly so I would try this site first before ordering. I have been the one recommending bestbridalprices.com ; ) but I also researched all of my ideas and what I wanted here and then I got onto www.marisanicolebridal.com and she was able to get me a better deal if you want to try her and tell her Lenore sent you and see even if she can get you a price on what you want!

I got my Maggie dress from bestbridalprices.com. I tried it on at a local store first then ordered online. I got FREE hair accessories 9or you can get a veil) and shoes - $170 value. It' just arrived last month!! Shipping is free to the USA - i paid $30 for shipping to Canada and another $60 when it arrived (duty, taxes and whatnot). Give them a try! I've seen dresses on there for less than $200...you can even go with one of the fancy BM dresses that look like wedding dresses, but cheaper.
