What is the size of your wedding?

About 200 guests. Budget is 35K

150-200 guests (lots of out of towns) 20k (give or take)

100 people (only have 85 so far). Didn't set a budget, but pinched everywhere possible, DIYed a lot, 4 BM, 4GM, 1FG, 1RB, $16,500.00 for ALL OF IT!

Wow well i feel like i am doing it cheap lol..... I have 3 bridesmaids,jeff has 3 groomsmen, 1 flowergirl, and possible 1 junior groomsmen. We are having about 100 to the ceremony then open invite to the reception. Our budget is only $5000, i think we might make $6000 tho..... honestly i really couldnt imagine spending so much on a wedding, some ppl are spending my yearly income lol....crazy, but i am happy with the way everything is coming together, and i am getting everything i dreamed of a small simple wedding with family and friends

we are sending out about 380 or so invites but i'm hoping to keep it around 300 or so that actually attend (my fi has a HUGE family - thank god his parents are helping my parents to pay for this!)

We are inviting 145 people which includes the bridal party. We have 3 BMs my MOH and he has the same amount of groomsmen. Our flower girl then two ring bearers. We are trying to do our budget on 10,000, but it might end up being 12,000 lol...We will see how things go.

We are having around 100 guests.  I have 1 MOH and 2 BM, a best man and 2 GM, 3 FG, and 1 RB.  We are only looking to spend around $3,500, enough for a small, simple wedding with family and friends.

We're inviting 300 people, but are only expecting around half that, because a lot of them won't travel for the wedding.  We have 5 BM and 5 GM.  Our budget is $5000.

we don't have a budget, whatever we spend, we spend, thats the beauty of planning 18 onths in advance. we are having 150 people 20-30 of those are kids though. i have spent so far about 2000. we are guessing about 10k so it will prob be more like 20 or 30k. my parents are paying for all the small things that add up. They have paid for the guest book, cake topper, garter, toasting flutes, and so on. we have also been lucky with cost because we have so many connections. My bridesaids mom is a wedding florist featured in many wedding magazignes so she is doing my flowers at cost of the flowers, the best man and his mom both own resturants so they are catering our wedding. my friend is a bar tender, his friends own a bar so we are getting kegs cheap-free and my sister in laws niece is a wedding cake designer so she's doing our cake for almost nothing. the only thing i need is a photographer and a pianist

Well - we were originally going to invite around 200 people, but now I am thinking I will probably slash that in half just to decomplicate things (and maybe have a causal open house for those who might have wanted to attend the wedding). But no matter what our budget is around $3,000 - $3,500. Pretty small, but trust me I have made it stretch a loong ways! ;D

Thank you all for your comments. I am just wondering cause the groom pushed the date up again and now it is going to be the summer that I get my BA! Not a whole lot of money going to happen on my part.

We decided to keep the whole thing really small as I've been to so many weddings where the couple didn't know half the people they were catering for. So we went with a comfortable 60 people and are spending around £7500 ($15000) on our wedding in Hungary. We not only chose Hungary because that's where I was born but because things are MUCH cheaper over there.

Well I really dont have a budget but I have a total of 50 in my wedding party and expecting about 300 guest. I have alot of out of town guest.
But I feel you can have a great wedding with any budget big or small.Happy Planning and CONGRATS!!

We wanted something small and intimate like maybe 80 people, but since then it has grown to 135 people lol I think we are stopping there. Our budget is 6,000. We booked a beautiful victorian house for the ceremony/reception. We got a great deal on the cake. My uncle who is a photographer will do it for free. My aunt who is a caterer will give us a great discount. My best friends grandpa is a pastor and he will be our officiant. We booked our dj also for a great price. We feel very lucky that we know alot of people who can and are willing to help & be apart of our special day.

40 - 50 ppl tops and 15k although i'm sure i've blown that twice over.

150-175 people, that's including bridal party. $8,000 budget. but it may end up closer to 10,000

200 guests 15K if we stick to our own resources, 25K if we let his dad pay for the reception.

I'll be around where you are... I'll probably have around sixty guests and my budget will probably be $10,000 but I'm sure a nice wedding could be done for half as much.

We are having about 150-175 ppl and we are looking just a little more then 10K--but that includes the help of both families & us--so its resonable for everyone!!

Inviting around 300 -  8 GM & BM (including MOH & BM) and 1 JR GM & JR BM. 2 FG & 1 RB. Budget is to stay under or around 16-18000.

I am with the smaller budget-we are having 150 guest-we are having a small lakeside wedding in a small town and our budget is 5-$6000 although its very hard not to go over we have done fantastic! Our photographer is doing our pics which are usually $2500 for absolutely FREE includes bridal portraits and engagement as well as all day ceremony and reception not hourly! She contacted me and is using us as models for her website so that is exciting! then we lucked out our floral designer also needed portfolio pics so she is doing gorgeous flowers to advertise for the wholesale cost of flowers for all ?$277 wow! Then our Dj is also a stand up comedian and band member he is doing his services for $350 as you know Djs are super expensive because it is on a friday and using us for advertising and references!  Our dresses I ordered mine handmade in China-bridesmaids from the BLoom store for $25 ea because we are outdoor on hot july 4th I got a vibrant hot pink flowy babydoll dress I have 4 bridesmaids and 4 grooms man and my son is a co bestman or as we say little best man hes 2! We have saved so many different ways-Oh also the videographer is doing our video and using it on his outdoor wedding site so we are getting his services for $200 and so many are a fortune! The chairs and tables are full price as well as much of the decor although I shopped ebay and craigslist a ton! congrats!

I only have 3 bridesmaids he has 3 groomsmen 1 usher 1 flower girll 1 ring bearer and 150 guests....

my mom is exellent at planning weddings and is budgeting everything wonderfully

If you plan your wedding in advance it will be cheaper...get deals and negotiate. I will have 150 ppl my budget is very small but I am working on keeping costs down

I am having 6 bm 6 gm 1 fg 2rb and we have inv about 330 people, im guessing by the time everything is done we will have spent about 25K.....

We are having 200 people and spending $7500.00. Ladies it can be done and it can be done in a classy way!!!

I also have 2 maids of honors (twin sisters) 4 bridesmaids, 1 best man 4 groomsman, 1 flowergirl, 1 ring bearer!!!!

our budget is at $80K - we're in southern california
i'm hoping not to spend that much, but that's the max on what we want to spend for all wedd-related things for the weekend.

the $80K includes:
-church fee
-reception food & beverage
-everything wedd-related for the day (photog; dj; wedd planner, attire, bp gifts, etc)
-rehearsal dinner for bp & welcome to l.a. dinner for about 60 out of towners
-day after brunch

16 adults
and 15 children

75 including wedding party.  We're having the wedding in Fiji so it's just close family and friends.  So much better than all the hanger-ons just there for free booze!

With a Destination wedding it's harder to budget. Our ball park for guests is at 110 and we are looking at roughly 25-30 tgrand, That's in US dollars. In terms of bridal party it's an even 10 - 3BM, MOH and myself, 3GM, BM and the hubby.

Without sacrificing us paying the bills.  We can reasonably save $5000 for the wedding.  We are also going with one moh & bm.  Also about 50 people as well.  I have been looking at websites and blogs for inspriation for people who spent less than 5k on their wedding --- since we're really wanting to save for a house rather than spend 10k on a one day event.
