This is remerindas's Red Wedding!

So it's been a year since we got married. Everything is going great. The wedding turned out wonderfully! And if you can see in the picture, we are expecting our first on February 9, 2012. Baby boy named Damien Allan!

I'm so glad this part of the process is over!! Takes about a month to two months before they will be in. I have a lot to do to help pass the time until then.

So happy to check another item off the list!

So this design of the cake is just wonderful. I have a friend of the family that does cakes and this coming Saturday I'll be meeting up with her to go over design and flavors and size. The other picture is the cake topper. I'll be painting the 'brides' dress the same (or really close to the same) red color as my dress.

Bret and I are working with a small budget, and since real flowers make me sneeze ever 10 seconds, we opted for fake flowers. i made the girls' bouquets because well...i wanted to do it now. hehehe. the handle part is only about as wide as a thick pen, two of my girls have seen them and say they really like them.

yesterday I ordered my dress.....now the fun task of waiting....and waiting....and waiting for it.....

so i was playing around on David's Bridal online, and wanted to make up a wedding party to figure out dresses and tuxes. I had to tweak with the bride's dress, because the store didn't carry the dress I am getting. So i played with it in paint. I think the colors line up well.

Been having trouble lately trying to imagine what the centerpieces are going to look like. So I googled some pictures of centerpieces and these are the ones I came up with.....and BAM..it hit me, I know now what would like to have done.

Ok, picture this.... take #1, with the awesome bouquet of roses, put them in the vase of picture #4, the square vase is more our style...the bottom of the vase we will have the battery powered lights from picture #3, and we will put them on a mirror like in picture #2...no candles though, too many kids running around, don't want to worry about a fire.

It's about 5 miles north of town. It's secluded, which I like a lot. I'm not sure why I posted this, it gave me something do to instead of getting ready for work. Wedding has been on the brain a lot lately and we still have 15 months left...oh, i think it will fly by.

Here's what the final save the card will look like. The picture itself is blurry and the colors are kinda different. They look really beautiful once they were printed.

Found some printable magnet paper on Walmart.com. Along with the picture film, development, stamps, and envelopes: these cost us $40
