Anyone not using table numbers but table names?
I'm considering using table names instead of table numbers. Anyone doing the same?

I thought about doing a different city for each table, just for fun though. People are going to sit wherever they want.

Since we are getting married at the disneyland hotel we are naming the tables after disney couples. like "Ariel and Eric", "Cinderella and Prince Charming", "Mickey and Minnie"

I'm not doing numbers. But I will be doing street names that are meaningful to us...where I grew up, where he grew up, work, school, where we often go out etc. I might have some kind of list what each of the streets mean to us.

So our guests will be sitting at Michigan Avenue or State Street or Wacker Drive etc.

I'll be working on this in the next few weeks and will post a blog about it.

since we got engaged in disney world we are using the disney princesses ( cinderella, snow white, bell and so on) as the table names but we are only doing it for about 4 or 5 tables, just the ones reserved for the special guest

I am letting people sit wherever that would like to....that way they can sit next to someone that they know...and some of my friends are on again off again so.....if they are off again they wont be stuck sitting next to eachother...my head table will be exclusive though!!!

We are using city/country names too. They are places we visited or are meaningful for other reasons. On the table name cards we provide a little story to the cities/countries displayed.
