retro248's Pink wedding

So I tried on like 7 or 8 dresses. I first tried on the ones that I brought pictures of. I thought for sure I would end up with a Maggie Sottero dress but they just didn't suit me very well. My main problem is that i'm like 5'1. So the beautiful poofy dresses made me look like a giant cupcake. I was getting so frustrated because nothing looked right. They say you cry when you find the dress that is meant for you. I was the opposite. I almost broke down in the dressing room because nothing looked good. I even questioned if I had the bride gene in me anywhere. There was another bride trying on dresses the same time I was. She was much taller than I and of course much thinner. Everything she tried on looked great. She tried on many types of vintage style dresses I thought I would never pull off. My mom had me try on one of the dresses the other girl was trying on. I didn't exactly fit in the model so I couldn't get an over all feel. Teresa who had been helping me with dress after dress brought me one final dress. This is the one. I couldn't believe I could actually pull it off. It looked amazing. Totally not the direction I thought I would go in. Everyone including the other bride agreed this was my dress. I'm getting it in ivory/champagne. The best news of all... it was only $840!!!
