I tasted some fabulous cake today. We are going with a three tier since I am also having a dessert buffet. It will be similar in concept to this cake here. It will be blue in color with gold embellishments similar to what is in my STD's. It will also sit atop a pretty gold ornate cake stand. The largest layer will be a marble cake with buttercream and chocolate ganache while the other two layers will be yellow cake with a rasberry filling. The cake will be finished in buttercream but maybe some fondant for the embellishments. Best part is they will make me up a miniture mock up for me to approve and I will be able to take that cake home with me as well.
