So my deadline is July 25th. So still 10 days away, but they are coming in slowly. Here is the count as of now:

Responses received: 44
Remaining: 41

Total guests invited: 172

Why are some people so slow to respond?

Ours are slow too! My wedding is in 23 days and we have only had 15 rsvps out of 80 !! Might have to ring people a week before as we didn't make a deadline xX

I think some guests either don't understand or completely disregard the importance of RSVPing ON TIME, especially if it's a catered event.
A a week after our response deadline, I had to call almost half of the guests to find out whether or not they're coming. Most of them said they were coming and there were still some no-shows on the wedding day which we still had to pay for.
