This is what I get for waiting....
So frusterated right now! It is going to rain here for the next three days. I procrastinated taking my engagement photos and now it is going to rain. We were planning on going downtown and getting some cool shots. Don't know what I'm going to do for a back up. Suggestions?

My centerpieces
Here is a look of some of the centerpieces I will have at my reception. The first photo is similar to the one I will have on my guestbook table. The others are my table arrangements and the the last photo is of a rose I'm dying to have and believe my florist has found. I finalize everything with my florist on Wednesday.

Since our ceremony and reception are at the same place, the only transportation will be from the hair salon to the venue for myself and my girls. We are traveling in style in a pink hummer limo!

While I am not planning on seeing Shannon before the ceremony, I was curious if you ladies were planning on seeing your groom before the ceremony. I would like to wait to see his expression as I'm walking down the aisle. Just curious on what you ladies are doing.

Rehearsal
Dilemma Solved!
Our venue has a wedding scheduled the Friday before our wedding. So naturally, I thought we would hold rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on that Thursday. Not thinking, I didn't realize that the couple getting married on that Friday will be having their rehearsal on that Thursday. So I just changed rehearsal and rehearsal dinner to that Wednesday before the wedding. This works out perfect because the boys need to have their second tux fitting on Thursday. I Confirmed with the Reverend that she will be there Wednesday as well. Whew, problem solved!

Wedding Invitation
Mailing them out this week!
Just waiting on my additional invites to arrive. Can't wait to share photos, they are so fab! Those of you that remember my previous posts, will remember that I have my original letterpress invites that we will be sending to family members. Since these were on the pricey side, I needed to add additional invites to supplement the amount I needed. My cardstock to print my maps is arriving tomorrow. So I will print those out and get the letterpress invites out by Thursday. The remaining invites will be out by the weekend. They should be arriving Thursday.

Crystals!
Update 6/20: Just got my crystals, they are so much better than I anticipated. If you ladies are looking for crystals, this is your site. www.jamaligarden.com. Best prices and quality. These pictures don't even do it justice!
My florist is letting me use her cute little tiffany blue/aqua chandlier to hang in the middle of the gazebo over our sand ceremony table. I bought this 6ft. crystal rope with dangling crystal heart to drape over the arms of the chandlier. The second photo is of cyrstal drops we will suspend in the tall centerpieces along with the hot pink diamond confetti in the bottoms of the tall pilsner centerpieces. |

Bubbles
Couldn't resist.......
So I was totally gonna pass on the whole bubble thing. My venue does not allow any rice, flower petals, etc. So I thought I would just skip this whole part. I couldn't resist these aqua bubbles. Got them on sale for $5.99 at the knot.com. I'm gonna make a little tag for each one and tie with ribbon. I'm gonna put a cute little poem (inspired by Saucy209) in a frame next to the basket of bubbles. The poem will read like this:
Rice may be a tradition, But bubbles are more fun! When we become the new Mr. and Mrs., Please blow these bubble kisses, As our new life has just begun! |
