Honeymoon
Our trip to Sandals - Ocho Rios
Just noticed I never shared my honeymoon photos with you guys. Guess things move kind of quick after the wedding.
Jamaica was great!!! My only sour point was the dessert was not at all what I wanted, and I am a known chocoholic!! Short of that the trip was amazing!!! Married life is going great, but I will be honest ladies it is harder than what I imagined. Neither of us believe in divorce so every argument turns to "oh, no did I make a mistake" then in a few hours all is better. I have learned to appologize for things I don't think I did wrong, cook when I don't feel like eating, and to compliment my man to know end. He has learned when I go on some random tantrum and start crying that I feel better if he cuddles with me. He also, does the laundry EVERY Sunday and takes care of the trash. He is getting better at helping with dishes. While every argument may be the beginning of the end, it can also be a knotch that brings you two closer :) |

Hey ladies, I don't think I ever talked about my hair. Every time I look at my photos I want to send my hair dresser a thank you card all over again!
She set it up to be an up do for the wedding and a half up half down for the reception. The look was perfect with my reception dress more so than I ever imagined! I was nervous I would not want to change out of my wedding dress because my reception dress felt plain in comparison, but the hair was what I was missing. Not to mention how easy it was for me! I only had to remove about 6 bobby pins and voila! |

HELP!!!! How to propose in 24 hrs!
Hey ladies I need my hopeless romantics to help me out.
I just sold my cousin an engagement ring, and shipped it too late. I missed the baby shower he wanted to propose at and her birthday :(. So now here we are. He gets the ring today and has no clue how to propose. He has been with her for 10 years and does not have a romantic bone in his body and is short on funds. The plus is, she is not a "flashy" girl. She likes simple and is easily embarrased. Tonight they have 6 of their nieces and nephews spending the night and she is 6 months pregnant. What are somethings he could do? |

NWR: Cheating? When to tell?
Short version:
When do you tell your girlfriend her man is cheating? How sure do you need to be? How would you want someone to tell you? (please don't take this question to heart, just not sure how if on the phone, letter, face to face, pose a question for them to ask their mate) Heck. . . Should you tell your girlfriend her man is cheating? Long version: So I have a really close friend (we even have the same mom, hint hint) and she wants to marry this guy in two months. He has not proposed, but she really wants to marry him. Well I had suspicion when they started dating and he would never invite her to his house, and then he moved in with her after 2 months of them dating. He later explained a female friend was staying at his house and she is pregnant that is why he never took my friend there. (so ladies this is where us realist go, uh huh, it's his). So, my friend asked "is it yours?" he said "no." End of that discussion. A few months ago he stopped answering her calls for about 5 or 6 hrs, and did not come home until 2 am, he said he fainted at work (he works at a hospital) and they wanted to check him out in E.R. Well, now I have stopped talking to this friend for about 2 months and a source that does not know this background but knows the boyfriend informed me he has a baby that is about 3 months old! And this source is friends with the "other" woman. Now I am still not really talking to this friend, but we are on speaking terms. WHAT SHOULD I DO? My dh says I need to tell her, my mom says no don't tell her. Now this woman was pregnant prior to my friend meeting him, so technically it is not cheating. But apparently he did lie to the "other" woman about trips he took with my friend. I love coming to you ladies because you all have such different backgrounds and experiences. ------ Keep in mind last time I was faced with this with a different friend it went horribly wrong and my friend stopped talking to me for two years, and married the guy. They are now getting a divorce because he keeps cheating. |

my photographer is a GENIUS!
Ladies!! Let me tell you my wedding cake was crooked from every angle!! the art work, the ribbon, the icing, EVERYTHING WAS WRONG!
Those of us that are in to making cakes know you have to put dowels in the cake to lay the next one on top for support, well. . .. somehow my cake place missed that episode on food network and the cake was collapsing on itself. So bad it was leaning and I never put the topper on it. That top layer was supposed to be suported by 3 champagne flutes with our name engraved on it, but the thing just was not stable enough. I spent over $150 on those darn flutes! Anywho. . .. my photographer somehow managed to get this photo!! I am in pure shock of how descent the cake looks. No it is not foodnetwork ready, but if you compare it to the other photos I have, WOW!!! How and the heck did he do that! Genius, pure genius! Shakespeare photography, TAMPA, FL 5 stars p.s. the cake was so bad my baker gave it to me for free. They were charging me $850. |

lady on the site was asking about her hair cut. Basically her man told her she likes her hair long, she chopped it off and he got mad. So all the ladies were telling her she should have never married him, and he is an A$$ and just talking real bad abou ther husband. So I mentioned men put alot in to attractiveness and sex. More so than women. Next thing I know I am a troll, and I should not be allowed to reproduce, then they created a special blog to make sure I know how horrible I am. Really? is it that serious? Do you give a gift if you are in the bridal party? or is the money you spent on the wedding good enough?
I was in a wedding a few months back and the bride said she was expecting gifts from all of us, we also have another wedding coming up in Oct, but it is my husband's sister so of course we are getting her a gift. |
