Repost: Candy Calculator Formula

~Candy Girls~
Just say, Thank You Rhonda! I've seen questions recirculating on how to buy and add up the amount of candies needed for your buffet...

I have been emailed recently about calculations of your candy buffet! This is quite accurate from our wedding so enjoy.

Candy Buffet Calculations

Hope this helps you ladies!

They say you'll need about 3 oz. of candy per guest. EXAMPLE: 200 GUESTS= 37 lbs./candy
Formula to candy calculation is (Amount of Guests) X (3)= (Total)/ (divide by 16) = YOUR ANSWER TO LBS. NEEDED.
I'm having 60-70 guests=11-12 lbs./candy

Thank you! I needed some sort of way to guestimate the amount I need..my other thing is that I dont want just 5 dif kinds..I want like 7 plus some baked goods to make the area really pop! But now I know I don't need huge containers of the candy :)
